I wonder if Mashima is taking this chance to redesign the spirits how he might wish he did at first. Yukino's spirits, the most recent ones shown in the manga, were revealed 2 years ago, and then there are all the older spirits. Like I wonder if he wish he drew Loki like that from the start. Just random pondering, don't mind me.

This arc is focused on the spirits whereas the last on put more focus on the celestial mages. I need to read up on the Zentopia arc. So much was going on that it was hard to keep track.

Wish Gildarts was still around. I want more GildartsxLaki moments.

There's something that confuses me.
I remember them saying that the 12 keys were needed to open the Eclipse Gate, but I don't remember ever seeing them used. I just saw that when it became July 7th, the Gate automatically opened.

Scorpio reminds me of the earthland version of hughes with a different hair scheme Cancer reminds me of Bobobo-bobo-bobobobo (got the name slightly wrong but o well) with crab hands.

Question about an earlier episode. Why did Doranbolt erase almost everyone's memory of the dragons and the Eclipse gate? Would it create discord and spur uprising in the kingdom?

He altered the memories of the Rune Knights who were present, and that's it. He warned the top members of the Kingdom of Fiore to keep their mouths shut, there's no sign of him doing anything to the wizards, and the general population was evacuated and left mostly ignorant as to what really happened.

Well, this one's tricky. I looked up his phrase, "Nani ga mumumu da," to get some help on what he could be saying, but no luck other than that it's been used in something called 三国志 (Records of the Three Kingdoms).

I do know that "mumumu" is an onomatopoeia for grumbling, usually when in deep thought or annoyance. The rest would very loosely be translated as "What's all this, then?" I dunno, maybe Funimation or Crunchyroll will think of something.
