MC is a gamer obsessed with a Skyrim-ish free format role playing game, possessing multiple heroes and multiple scenarios outcomes and a extremely free playing system method that lets you do just about anything as long as the right elements are aligned. All of which leading to somehow stopping the actually dangerous demon lord from destroying the continent.
After being hit by a truck-sama MC reincarnates as a baby in that world two decades earlier then the scenario of the game. And this baby turns out to be one of the NPC that dies early on. In order to not die according to game scenario he trains himself to the height of power for the next two decades and prepares for the upcoming battles.

But unfortunately he is not one of the destined heroes of the game and "literally" can't defeate the demon lord although he is equal in power to him.

To defeat the demon lord a certain "magic lineage"(aka hero power) is needed that affects the demon lords absolute shield. A Magic frequency that the heroes of the game are born with.
So his main goal is to find the heroes and train them so they have enough power to put up a fight against the Demon Lord.

The story isn't that typical RPG reincarnation story.There's no levels, there's no status and there's no "skills" either. Just years of training and Magic.
And since the end of the world really is going to happen the MC doesn't slack around going on stupid adventures.
It does a pretty good depiction of "war" and "battles" and the MC himself is kind of a battle maniac.
There are many scenarios and many outcomes to follow, some of which change depending on what he does and who he meets.

MC's position in the story is that of the great sage philosopher in which the heroes learn how to be a badass from.
MC is semi-serious level headed person who doesn't act like some high school child and he is legitimately a good teacher.

The continent really is going to get wiped out by a massive AoE spell if he doesn't do something. And MC is the only one who knows what's going to happen. plus he doesn't want to die

And it's not something as simple as just send the "hero party".
There is actually a war going on between humans and demons and everyone has their own personal situations
In the first place only he knows about the "heroes" and they don't even know about anything of the sort. No ancient prophecy or anything.

The main underlying theme is "defeating the Demon Lord is not as simple as it sounds" and there are many factors at play to reach the end scenario.

Training ark for MC?
It time skips in five chapters to when he's 18 years old.
His initial preparation arc isn't that long.

As for the heros.
While he tries his best not to interfere with them too much he picked up the princess hero and on a journey with her. He basically wants to get her to form a contract with all the elemental spirit kings ( while he forms a contract with the Holy Spirit's).
And when he meets with other heroes he usually points them in the right direction of their fate or give them a tip. He sometimes even plants really good weapons he made and then send them to go pick it up. (he's a really good blacksmith and he can make holy weapon class swords)

Some corrections.

First, the MC thinks he can probably one-shot the demon lord if it wasn't for the restriction.

Two, it's not magic frequency needed to beat the demon lord. The person needs to be a descendant of the person who had sealed him in the past because there was something about the demon lord having taken in the seal that was used on him (not 100% sure on that last part, but it was something along those lines), and the MC can't take out any of the lead generals either because the hero(es) need to beat them in order to gain the power to break through the demon lord's barrier.

Three, the "princess hero" that cabman mentioned is not one of the five potential heroes. She was a tutorial restricted character for one of the five heroes in the game, and in the story she has a pretty tragic death so the MC decided to save her and the king (but keep it hidden until the time is right because they're supposed to be captured the entire time which influences the previously mentioned hero's story) since it would leave a bad taste in the MC's mouth. At first the MC was against training her, but since she was super stubborn about fighting against the demon army, the MC decided to train her personally so that he can also keep an eye on her so that things don't go haywire from her acting on her own.

Last but not least, here's the vol 1 cover that cabman left out from the opening post. The girl is the princess talked about above.

P.S. This is an ore TUEEEEE story. Nothing can beat the MC and he can make equipment better than anything else existing, not to mention more than he could ever want of all the rarest materials.

Keep in mind that if he makes a wrong step (do something that will lead to none of the heroes defeating the generals and demon king), then the entire continent goes boom. Of course the MC will try to make sure things will stay on track.

He competence and insanely strong.
But he's not stupid enough to go waving his power everywhere when he doesn't need to. But then again he can usually blitz most things.

He doesn't want to cost too much changes to interfere with the heroes after all

Competent? He's short-sighted and inflexible.

He and the princess party with a potential party member of the game's main characters. Unless they drag the guy around forever, he might very well later party with the main character that knows the princess. And then all the plans should be for naught. White-haired, jade-eyed noble girl on the run, named Sophia? No way that main character won't make the connection. Wait, I forgot that Murphy's Law doesn't apply. Forget I ever said anything. All hail the protagonist.

So...the MC has max in every stat but can't really kill the Demon Lord because of plot reasons? Really reminds me of the time I spawned an Alduin in Skyrim just for fun and couldn't kill it, and instead of reloading and spawning another one, I just used him to level up my skills . Too bad I didn't get to save it due to power outage...Anyway, seems interesting.
