I think everyone expected Alicization, but this sorta came out of nowhere.

What's everyone think? What studio may get this one? Think Itou will also be directing it? Considering his experience with the main series, I'd rather he didn't come back for this...

Tomori Kusunoki will play Llenn, and Yōko Hikasa will star in the series as Pitohui. Kazuyuki Okitsu will play M, and Chinatsu Akasaki will play Fukaziroh. Llenn will also be a playable character in the upcoming Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet video game.

Oh boy, the setting does take place in the world setting I had expected.

The OP song is decent I suppose (Eri Aoi) so if you're familiar with her style, it's pretty much what it is. The setting of the show doesn't impress me much. I've played Fatal Bullet not long ago and once you've seen one place, it feels like you've seen them all. (the character designs seems to be faithful so far though)

I'm going to have to get used to LLENN's voice a bit. The action seems fine though so far and didn't waste much time in getting to it. Also, there's not much exploitation so far which is definitely a plus.

First episode felt like a video game honestly to me.

Interesting introduction. Badass female pink munchkin with a twist reveal. The best part was the complete and utter absence of Kirito or any other SAO character.

There's something really funny seeing an extremely fast pink blob mowing down some pros with a p90. Not to mention her real life counterpart looking like a pretty adult.

They did need the element of surprise on their side to pull it off, and ensure that they didn't have other teams doing the same to them like what they've seen happen lots of times along the way. Basically, the entire episode was them trying to get into an advantageous position without getting killed or ambushed (again) along the way.

She can't. She's just fast enough to dodge once she sees the prediction lines. Anyone could do it if they put enough points in AGI/SPD. It's not like she can literally dodge bullets (or lightsaber-deflect them like Kirito): when she was pinned down by those machinegun guys early on she was pretty much stuck. A heavy squad firing full auto could take her out, and a good sniper could get her as well.

Also, she has to have left herself pretty low in strength and health to have that much in speed and agility. Basically, she's really deadly under the right circumstances, but can go down really easy and could be very vulnerable if she can't get into the right circumstances.

You're making no sense. Kirito is a walking cheat. Lenn just maxed out her agility. Anyone in the game can do that.
