It certainly looks like we'll be getting Godly animation for the entire series. My word it just looks...

Hopefully the animation quality doesn't drop halfway through the series.

That's such a big hope. For TV series like this we just can hope the animation studios manage to take care their resource well enough so the "cheap" animation part/palette doesn't make our eyes bleeding, and they can balancing the luxurious shot and normal shot (cheap shot as well) throughout the series with good job.

It all depends on how they spend the budget. If they're careful with how much they use for certain episodes, they might make it through the whole series.

Guys, this is UFOtable. They don't know the meaning of animation drop.

Plus i can imagine the budget for this title being quite high. Probably Kara no Kyoukai high.

This is going to have a big budget, but I expect to see variations in animation quality. I don't think we'll see anything as bad as the Naruto vs. Pain fight but it won't be as beautiful as Kara no Kyoukai the entire time either.

I'm thinking something like FMA:B. That had a tremendous budget and still had poor animations at certain points BUT they always came though when it counted and that's something that I do expect to see here.

On another topic... does anyone know what the popularity of this is in Japan? What I mean is, how much attention is it getting? We already have forty pages of discussion and not a single episode yet (sub-forum for the first episode, I say).

And awesome page in Megami, thanks for the share Ravenblitz.

There have been 7 anime discussion threads on 2ch so far for this (7,000 posts) which is extremely good for an anime that hasn't aired yet. In any other season and year it would have definitely been the #1 most pre-hyped show. However, it falls behind Gundam AGE (43 threads so far, obligatory, most of the threads are filled with trolling, doesn't really count, etc), Haganai (the anime discussion thread technically only has 5 threads, but most of the discussion even about the anime is happening in the LN thread which is on its 87th iteration, which is like, godly for a series that hasn't even been animated yet, oh and keep in mind the fact it has 5 threads for the anime discussion is extremely impressive too especially considering it's competing with the LN thread), Persona 4 (13 threads), and Horizon (10 threads).

So yeah, it's getting a lot of attention in Japan as well, it's just not on top like it is here in the West.

There's already the Fate/Stay Night subforum (as I'm sure you're aware ), so I imagine it'd just get moved into there once it airs.

As GDB mentioned, it'll probably get its own thread in the FSN sub-forum once it starts officially airing.

Ah... that new Gundam series. Well, I do believe there are a lot more Gundam fans than Type-Moon. But it's good that it's getting attention.

I am liking the attention in the West. It makes you wonder if Realta Nua and/or the original VN would sell well in the West.

Of course I am aware... I just wasn't sure if they were going to put it there or make a new one to prevent confusion.

I don't think there would be much confusion, honestly. It's always been obvious from the start that Fate/Zero is connected to FSN, even for the people who haven't read the original novels.
