Now, there are very few things that I do truly believe deserve a 10/10 after the episode afterglow has passed, but I'm confident this is one of them. What a beautiful episode.
Misaki's speech was unexpected, fantastic, and almost drove me to actual tears (watery eyes achieved, though). For an episode that was essentially 1 scene with flashbacks for over 20 minutes, I still sit here wishing it was longer. Long live Sakurasou!

If there is one lesson I've learned from Sorata in these last 23 episodes, it's that there is no obstacle so formidable that it cannot be overcome by yelling. Really, really loud, and passionate yelling.

lol. Sakurasou 23 was okay. Definitely a cheapshot episode.
Loved the beginning when Misaki got flustered when Jin actually grabbed onto her. What a cheap move, using the graduating speech to pitch their sakurasou demolish problem. Didn't really care about the whole speeches this episode, I mean I get it, but its such an easy tear-jerker episode while saving budget by reusing scenes I end up being cynical about it. I started CRACKING UP when Sorata got on stage out of nowhere from the very back row and no one saw though. XFD. And the pose with the mic. Hilarious. And with his WATCH ME AS MY SOUL IS BURNING WITH YOUTH voice.

That was some great manipulation by Sakurasou there. They completely suckered the crowd into going along with something they couldn't be bothered to care about earlier. Though I have to give props to Misaki for the job she did there. Did a good job building it up to be quite the incredible and emotional moment.
Then it just went out of control . But really I enjoyed the episode. Nice for the series to get those tears for an episode that is positive rather than depressing emotional. Everyone just got going during that starting speech. Was pretty fun when Sorata ran up there to make a fuss as well. Man that guy can look hilarious when he's getting emotional . In the end a nice job done to save Sakurasou. Also a fitting farewell for the graduating members. Although we are just about done so not like we're going to have time to miss them . Goes to show how things built up to a great conclusion for Misaki. Started alone and then members just started slowly gathering until the arrival of Mashiro kind of tipped the scales and really turned it into a fun place to be. If you get critical you can point out weak points about it being heavily flashback driven, but damn they did a good job with it .

The concept of the speech was so cheesy that I ended up snorting at times and outright laughing when Sorata et al joined in with the microphone. Graduation is a day for every graduating senior to enjoy, and should not be used by a select few to further their own interests in such a disruptive manner. If this were to happen in my school, the teachers wouldn't even have to step in because the guys would be laughed off the stage. Fortunately, this is a work of fiction and the mob mentality caused the audience to sheep onto the interests of the residents of Sakurasou.

I don't understand half you ? :/ ?
the board members where being underhanded in demolishing the building? They where trying to save their own butts if mashiro artist talents diminished. the student president basically caught them, breaking their own rules too. they board member's deserved what they got a the ceremony. imo |

It's not just about the cynicism of the student body (or lack of it), but that the ordinary student in that ceremony wouldn't know about the events in Sakurasou. We as the viewers obviously know what they went through - all the blood, sweat, and tears that they shed in their search for success, friendship, and love - but the ordinary student wouldn't have known about that. And if the general student body was apathetic enough for their petition to garner only around 300 signatures in spite of all of Sakurasou's efforts, then how can they reasonably be expected to jump on the bandwagon and oppose Sakurasou's demolition?
The students in my high school were pretty cycnical though. We would applaud the symphonic band for tuning their instruments before they even played any songs, give a standing ovation to the guy who adjusts the microphone stand for every competitor in a public speaking competition, and give our principal the Nazi salute during national day. I think Misaki would probably have been booed off the stage in my school.
