Hah, Konosuba is as crazy as ever I see. Yep, the derp faces are there in full force, but it’s not a big deal for me coz the animator team definitely get their priorities right (as in the comedy). Heck, even the OP is funnier than last season (that dance XD). Hilarious story, comedic-timing & quality voice-acting are a lot more important than excellent animation. Btw, where does DEEN gets most of their funding for this? Does Kadokawa supply them, or DEEN use their own money? If it’s the latter then I guess it’s the right decision to spend more of that animation money on Rakugo S2 rather than Konosuba. I’ve made this comparison in the anticipation thread and I’ll make it again, Konosuba is like this generation’s Slayers: a comedy in RPG setting that doesn’t require fine animation to be successful. You just have to make it funny and this one nailed it (so far).

Man everybody was really mean to kazuma, but it was pretty funny the interrogatory and the trial, just like gintama this serie started awesome. I hope darkness don't stay out for much.

I don't know if they ever showed what Alderp looked like in the LN, but what we get here didn't really fit my image of him.

That said, "Blond Ron Jeremy with a Rug" really fits...

That would be hilarious, and it would put to rest one of my biggest reservations about what happened in this episode. (Yes, I know Darkness is a total M, but I'm just not that comfortable with what was being implied with that guy's interest in her.

Just as expected that no matter whatever things they achieve, it will always go to shits.

Personally I feel like he should have joined the Demon King's army instead like he was being accused of, those guys seems to be living in a much better society.

makes me wonder what happens if Kazuma was trialed in a U.N. supreme court for his 'terrorism acts' (+petty & sexual crimes) despite his efforts in trying to stop a super weapon from attacking a heavily populated area with said collateral damage indirectly caused by him viewed as a crime.

And when I commented that poster promoting series look bad people started to defend Deen... And how it ended? Art in this season is not only weaker that in first one, it's just painful to watch.

As for 1st episode... Yeah, that was fun, as expected from this series.

The animation is a bit worse but the seiyuu are doing a perfect job and that's all I need.

Aqua's as useless as ever, but she's still damn adorable.

That Sena girl is annoying, hope she gets eaten by those big frogs.

I usually get a laugh out of the situation when the main characters suffer in this series but damn that ending made me genuinely sad.

Indeed. I want the MC progress even a bit but the ending literally put them back at where they started.

Kazuma needs to get in touch with the Demon Lord and end this Middle Age system madness, this system is even worse than being dominated by the Demons, who apparently have modern world common sense as seen from Wiz and Dullahan. They got free will to do what they want, choose to be what they want, and go on vocations (with the exception of idiots blowing up your castle)

Maybe it's just my memory but I don't recall the friendship crystal from the LN.

Yunyun's intro was great. The entire episode had me laughing.
