Princess Starla is rather cute in a Leia sort of way! (think she's supposed to resemble Mio some?) Wouldn't mind a company or fan spin-off of that! And poor Nano grabs my heart in every ep. Hopefully she'll cross the line and get her wish to turn into a real human one of these days -- if just to to free of her sadistic little creator!

The cold opening was just awesome. I'm really enjoying how Kyoani is trying to convey different atmospheres just for the sake of it. Dolph was a gleefully entertaining man to watch in the five minutes of screen-time he was given.
I also really liked how while the male teacher was lost in his thoughts, the principal was just there in the background not knowing what to do. Also enjoying how random foppish gentlemen keep turning up in the most unexpected of places. Next episode looks to be done by FMPs director Yasuhiro Takemoto. After that the director rotation cycle restarts. How the story pans out after this will be key to testing the worth of the series. |

The gap of information played a major role this week.
The gap between a comedian and an audience. I feel for you, Yuuko. Tough crowd. The gap between feelings, a handkerchief and several explosives. The gap between a club's members and the club's purpose. The gap between a robot and dental care. The gap between eggs (Tomokazu Seki! Yes!) and their surrounding environment (read: hot). The gap between students trapped and the teachers unaware, leading to the greatest gap of all. Between sanity and insanity, between endless darkness and animation. It all began one morning, when the students changed into summer uniforms, and a hand, guided by the wind and its rocket boosters, shot through the city sky. For the left hand did not know what the right hand was doing. |

The elevator scene was just really bizarre and wtf, though it was interesting overall and amusing by the end.
Other highlights of the episode for me were gundere's actions and Yuuko at the beginning of the episode, and I still find the other trio not as funny generally. I also saw the guy leaving the club coming from the dialogue, understandable given they do almost nothing .

Hm, another episode that was rather stale when it came to humour, it did have some interestingly entertaining moments though. Like the scene where Yuuko, Mio and Mai were trapped in the elevator. The gloom was incredibly thick until that episode of eggplant-induced hysteria kicked in.
I don't get why Nano hates being a robot so much. Sure it may not be "normal" but who's gonna complain about that? Robots are awesome.~ I guess I'd be a little annoyed if the one who invented me applied a whole bunch of pointless functions though, and Nano's definitely not short of those. All-in-all, the episodes were pretty funny for a little while but it's starting to slip. Hope it can get back in gear next week.~

That elevator scene . Jesus that was epic.
Sasahara is quite popular, isn't he? :s I don't know how to rate this episode... It wasn't exactly as humorous as I expected but I didn't even realize that we had reached the ending so I quite enjoyed it still. |

Just heard the full version of "Zzz". Possibly one of the best ED this season(that isn't a cover) in my opinion. Wonderful energy, a real delight to listen to. The song just turns amazing after the second verse.

I'd like more Mio and less of the other two students.
I'd love more of Sasahara and weapon gal too. The professor / robot are completely void of humor to me at this point. I would rather watch the cat chase its tail endlessly.

On the different versions of the song on ED single; I am really liking the "Bossa Nova" version too, I can't decide between it and the original XD. Though I am not actually as fond of the Acappella version compared to the other two.

As much as i love this show, there is one thing i really don't like. That is, some sketches are stretched a bit too long. It isn't apparent in the manga, but here (anime) it kind of stands out sometimes.
Nevertheless still loves this show. |

I don't care much for the professor/robot dynamic either, but I actually like the relationship the robot has with Mio's sister quite a bit. Hope there's a few more skits of stalking, bullying fun between them. |

I thought it was hilarious that at one point in the beginning of the episode when Yuuko was failing at telling jokes you could see Nano chasing her hand in the background.
Elevator scene was quite amusing, especially the way they chose to depict that scene. |
