A couple of pictures from the last Comiket. The surprise is that the cosplayer is a fellow AS member.

She fought through smell and sweat of crowds of hundreds of thousands of otaku to make it to the cosplay area, and for that we're thankful.

Whenever I ask what her next cosplay will be, she never says. I guess it takes a lot of motivation to schedule (and spend on) the train/hostel for a weekend in Tokyo just to cosplay.

I'm a bit surprised about your discovery that she was an AS member, though...

Other than that, isn't that the custom from Kanon? I don't remember any Kanon characters who tie hairs like that though...

Yes, its the school uniform from Kanon. Oh I'm sure there's some character in the background of the series who had twin tails (e.g. Girl #3 in ep 12 in background of cafeteria)

She's not cosplaying as any of the main characters. That'd take a special trip to the stylist to create that "Magical KyoAni Billow of Hair" and she was on a mission of ruthless "GETTO!" there.

edit: She's having a major case of "hazukashii" about it so if you think she's cute in her cosplay, be sure and say so -- we'll see if she explodes in embarrassment.

Any idea what these guys use to get the perfect spikey anime hair? I can't seem to find any product to keep my hair from flopping down and looking like a greasy mess.
