Crazy thought, what if the man of Azudora's past turns out to be the evil noble from the kingdom. For someone who has such evil plans he has a lot of compassion for Helck, so I was wondering if he was different in the past.

I am not sure if Asuta rising yandere flag is good for her health in long run though.

It's more that he's just given up on the world and believes there is no stopping Mikaros.

It safe to say this chapter confirmed Sharuami still human, and yes Rafaed has ulterior motive which mean he doesn't on same coin with Mikaros. Possibly this is hint for feud between those two in the future or maybe they already had? with how noble Rafaed is and immoral Mikaros i am surprise those two could get along well. There should be a certain circumstance to made them work together otherwise what a strange duo.
