LOL That is the formula for many protagonist in this kind of shows to have a spine made of jelly, and then you have characters like Tsukane from R+V (manga mind you) and the new Raki from Claymore (again Manga) who developed that spine. Although I have pretty high hopes for Minato to develop as a character, I mean he tried to protect Musubi when she was being chased, jumped into the fire to wing Homura when his/her powers went out of control.

agreed I think minato pretty cool for a character (unlike some other character where they're stated as a loser then stay and act like one) he show some bone when the situation needs to - I'll blame his lack of confidence and attitude to her sister and mom (they're the devil) -

eventhough he's a lucky bastard I could still consent on him getting so many sekirei

its not yet over but chapter 66 is the most recent chapter, dunno if one will come out this weekend

Eh. I kinda prefer it, in cases of actual superpower. I mean, it's a matter of powerlevels. If it's a battle of superhumans, well, keep it to the superhumans. The litterature is full of stories of strong males rescuing damsels in distress. The last thing we need is for strong females to get nerfed so the male can take center stage.

I prefer dynamics like AMG. Keichi does what he can, but he doesn't become a God or anything... (except that one time he got an angel).

But she isn't working on the anime, right?

Too bad. I think she's a perfect match for the character. And with a big name like hers, the character would have probably been even more idolized.

I guess they figured that they didn't want to have too many Tsukiumi fanboys or something.
