Haters are always gonna hate. I'm hoping that the writers will have something good in store for the faithful audience through excellent usage of the material potential. For now, it seems like there's a wave of good feeling and anticipation of the next arc (and how Flit's arc will set the stage for Asem's world).

True, I look forward more towards the second generation and how things will look like rather than the first generation, although I guess it will be related I guess. Part of it is because Flit, Not Woolf and AGE-2 Normal looks so boss (that picture in other words, sum it all up).

Now, I'm also really looking forward to seeing how adult Emily looks like too seeing how Flit has turned out so nicely. And what the hell, maybe Dique too though more towards Emily I guess now that we've already gotten Flit.

I will say though, I can't remember the last time I've seen a non-real life color facial hair in an anime before. The last time for me was Hector from Fire Emblem: Sword of Seals. The ones I usually see are those of normal hair color in anime artstyles.

Yes, what kind of role will Emily play in the post-Flit world will be interesting. We know that she's probably going to risk everything for him, which portends possibly dark events. My ideal Emily would be a successor to Vargas, playing the support role with the occasional mobile suit sortie. This plays to the traditional Japanese waifu role, of course. But, maybe the writers will surprise us.

I'm beginning to think that Not-Woolf will be adult Decil, but that's just idle speculation.

The "final" assault would be like stirring up the hornets' nest. My guess the final fight will be a pyrrhic victory of sorts--the Diva is lost, Grodek goes out in a blaze of glory while the rest of the crew is rescued by the Federation. The positive outcome of that would be the Federation finally joining the fight with Flit and his hand-picked crew given key positions in shaping strategy towards dealing with the UE:

Another alternative scenario (and more romantic one) would be Diva surviving and limps away from the battlefield while being pursued by the Federation. Owing to the AGE system, they begin to rebuild and refit whatever they can, but become self-sufficient. Part of me is still holding out for Asem's arc to be based on a three-way free-for-all between Flit & crew, the UE and the Federation. It might not be any MS battles on a massive scale, and perhaps too complex for younger audiences to follow, but it could offer more plot twists than your standard good guys versus bad guys conflict.

Hope it has improved everything...

The character designs do look a lot more serious, so maybe it'll be the Zeta Gundam designs to those in First Gundam.

I say its hard to tell from just one picture, but I do hope you're right. At the moment, but with all the stuff going on, its easy to forget AGE is still just episode 9. Hopefully as it does indeed move further, things will get more serious as I'm sure it will.

I want to know more about the EF really, we don't know much about them at the moment except that they're there.

She's not really been shown to have any such talents, though. If anything, she'd probably grow to follow in the footsteps to Vargas so that she can support Flit in the best way possible.
