I can't see why not after all the only reason Yuji has his overwhelming power in the first place is because he fused with SoF so naturally defusing should take it all away and make him normal again.

Wouldn't he keep the extra power though because of the reiji maigo. I mean wouldn't it always refil the same amount he has now, even if the source dissapeared. Like what happened with Sydny's hand.

Well if Shana and Co. can figure out a way to get SoF out of Yuji altogether it can happen but only time will tell.

I think Pheles and Johan are already planning to remove SoF from Reiji Maigo and Shana did say she was going to drag SoF out of Yuji.

SoF original form is already on the battlefield, its the main reason why the Flame Haze retreated in vol 20. His conciousness seems to still reside within Yuji though.

This is a long shot but, isn't Snake's flame the "black flame with a silver shadow" and not just a silver flame (that or the other way round). So if his main flame colour is black and the silver flames are the symbol of his shadow (AKA the silver), doesn't that mean that even if Snake is destroyed the silver suit of armour will remain just that, a suit of armour inside Yuji, so then he would keep his flame but lose the Snake.

In the second opening for Season 2, you can clearly see what the flames of SoF will look like (possibly a hint that they were "going" to add it, but chose not to?) But you do make a point, the silver suit of armor will remain in Yuji as long as he has the Reiji Maijo (I think Silver was implanted in it right?)

0:43-0:45 (if you look at the things around Shana, those are assumed to be SoF's flames)

I thought they were crows or something though. I never thought they were flames. I saw the Opening before, and thought they were crows of some sort because of the first few seconds.

If the Unrestricted spell Johann asked Pheles to make for him has something to do with the silver flames, then could it be so that in the future they could fight side by side? Like what Shana and Yuji are trying to achieve?
