Interesting, Higurashi is the only one out of all of the new titles that is being released starting in 2008, and the only one with 6 volumes already solicitated (the rest have 1-3). Although that first one might be because Onikakushi-hen is a monthly title.

Oh, also in case people didn't notice (we certainly didn't >_>;; ) there was a page missing from our release of Onikakushi c02. You can download it here. The v01 torrent and bot have been updated with version 2 of chapter 2 with the missing page included.

"Irreconciable differences" have caused the Eternal Bunny manga translation group to shut down after 2 1/2 years. Coincidentally, Higurashi was the last manga they ever translated. This has happened to 2 other translation companies, and they all just "died" during this project.


I swear, this series is cursed to its very core.

If anyone's interested... Minagoroshi AND Matsuribayashi have been announced to make their debut in manga form. Rejoice, world.
No covers yet (duh), but Matsuribayashi marks the return of Suzuragi Kaorin as its artist, the same as in the Onikakushi and Tsumihoroboshi adaptations.
