Yeah, they should have at least given us that 90 second hoarse Yui vocal one. D:

-cough- Putting that aside, that metronome for the version without drums is annoying, but I'm no drummer....

How rare are female guitarist? I keep thinking about bands I know and I can barely think of one or two which has a female guitarist and they were just support.
How about female bass guitarist? I don't think I've ever seen one, except maybe a rare random video on YouTube somewhere. The ones I do see are probably as wild as Sawako-sensei during her band time. Nobody normalish like Mio or Yui. |

yes it doesn't XD it's passion over logic .. the effect of the moe virus.
moreover if the otaku doesn't have to support any family .. one could spend loads of money just to satisfy his otaku core lol XD Quote:
Just reflecting on recent anime songs .. the trend of the lyrics to heavily rely on context; If you try to analyze the lyrics and translate it into English .. literally it will not make any sense ^^ but put together they will form an overall image you can interpret via context .. that's why inserting English seems ok .. it will add flavor to that context adding the cool factor it has for the Japanese. btw, I loved the ED; Don't Say Lazy FTW ^^ !! |

As for the year end, 2008's #100 song sold 78k copies. (Just happened to be Nana Mizuki's 'Trickster' ) If each of these song didn't sell one more copy, they'd place in the mid 60's based on last years sales. The highest ranked seiyuu sung anime theme last year was Macross F's 'Lion' at 122k (placed 56th). If I had to venture a guess at this point, I'd say that 'Lazy' will be in the top 50. Not so sure about 'Cagayake!', though it has surprised me so far. 1st day sales for 'Fuwax2 Time' will be out tomorrow morning... |

Fuwa Fuwa time, first day only placed 4th, sold less then 12,997. Looks like otaku's pockets have bursted after buying so many copies of the opening and ending, or they just didn't like the song as much.
-Goes back listening to Jam Project-

I can't say I would be a big fan of the OST either, the BGM isn't exactly something that stands out in my head. I'm more or less ready to purchase Fuwa Fuwa Time though, especially since Yui's normal voice is back in~

I could see the single rising in the next day or two, as both Erina Mano (an H!P idol) and abingdon boys school's sales tend to be ridiculously front loaded, but I doubt #1 is possible, as Masaharu Fukuyama is a sex symbol to most middle-aged housewives, and they do reward their idols whenever they deliver. No matter what, I guarantee this song will still outsell pretty much any other seiyuu effort this year that isn't made by Nana Mizuki. |

I was expecting Fuwa Fuwa time to sell better, 'Mio' did write the lyrics for it right? Mio followers should reward their little Mio-chan with such effort of writing the lyrics. If I made any sense. But the sales should be pretty much stable.

And now, courtesy of my obsessive watching looking around on the Pony Canyon site, information on the first two character song CDs - Yui and Mio.
Yui Songs include - "Guitar ni Kubittake (ギー太に首ったけ)", "Sunday Siesta", and what looks to be one song done four different times titled "Let's Go!" (after "Bookmark A Head", "Double-Action" and "Climax Jump", this is nothing.) Mio Mio's song selection includes "Heart Goes Boom!!" (Moe~ Moe~ Kyu~n!), "Hello Little Girl" and her version of "Let's Go!". Information on Mugi and Ritsu will be posted when it exists. |
