Everyone leaves out.. ;_; death (from stupefaction)! for me the zts main songs are

ep 1: goldenslaughterer
ep 2: worldend dominator
ep 3: miragecoordinator
ep 4: death (from stupefaction)
remix of these songs - hidden tea party ep 4 - dreamenddischarger
ep 5: resurrectedreplayer

all awesome in their own way imo. <3

I don't. death (from stupefaction) is one of my favorite tracks. :3
They better keep all of his notable tracks in their respective scenes. >.>

resurrectedreplayer was kind of a let down to me. It has some good parts, but half of this track is made of resamples from old songs, and that a big minus.

Plus there are songs that are more epic than this one, like "final answer", "keisetsu Kimera", "Aci-L", "proud dust", "justice", "shoujotachi no majogari"

All of them are better imho.

It is hard for me to decide which is my favourite epic song... but It think Aci-L is probably the one I like the most

I agree that resurrectedreplayer was bit disappointing, but I think it's pretty cool how it used the main instrument from each of the previous zts "-er" songs without actually copying any of the tunes:
EP1->EP3->EP4->far->EP2->nice new bit->boring ending bit

Still, it didn't have a theme that really jumped out at me, and the last section of the song is just not so interesting.

Heh, I'll have to stick with Aci-L for my favorite too, though it's no match for あかいくつ偽.

resurrectedreplayer grows on you eventually. The best part of the song is the transition into Far. That's when you do dramatic pans of characters (preferably with eyes closed).

When does that exactly happen? I never really heard Far in the song, even though multiple people said its there.

The Far portion is the piano solo. The original tune uses a string instrument for the melody so that's probably why you didn't connect them.

If Resurrectedreplayer was the first Umineko song I had heard I would probably love it to death but it has to get compared to what came before it... and using parts of the songs it's being compared too definitely doesn't help its cause..

Maybe I'll like it better when I can attach a scene to it.. heck Dai's "happiness of marionette" didn't even catch my ear until I heard it in VN 3 and it's now one of my fav Umineko BGMs period... but I loved the previous "god" songs by ZTS before having to play the VN... I hope ZTS comes back strong for VN 6.

I thought resurrectedreplayer was supposed to be a sample of every zts-er song, sort of like "Everyone's here in this one song now".

Also, the scene it was used in was ;_;.

You have something against Goldenslaughterer and Dreamenddischarger?

The reason I like Dreamenddischarger as much as I do is because of the Goldenslaughterer remix in the song since it's my favorite zts piece. That and Dreamenddischarger just sounds really awesome. Resurrectedreplayer, however, I did not like.
