Great update as always, really like the spaltered paints andthe fact than, in the request, you didn't show their face.

One thing thought, with the black/dark being so dominating, would adding some white on the banner be a good idea ? Also, given than white is kind of the major color of Aigis ( the girl in the right) wouldn't that equalize their impact ?

Thanks ganbaru for the c&c; as for the splattered paints they are in fact painstaking smudge efforts. As for balancing it out, they're supposed to be dominantly opposite so I'm quite happy with how it is. Metis doesn't have as many effects around but I didn't want to make it symmetrical so it's alright.

Nice banner here but is it me or the blending could had been better, especialy witht he girl on the right; the bottom is alright but some part of her heead and hair look like they were simply put over the background ?

Hello, long time no see...

ganbaru, yes it's my mistake but I didn't have much time to focus on the blending since I wasn't using my computer.

Godlike, yes, from time to time, but at minimal values.

My preference would go to the first and third of your work: the artworks are good if not great and do work well together. The second one do suffer by the artwork than look much more like than it's comming from different sources.

About your last one, I like the background ( interesting touch to have keep a little part of regular night sky in the corner) but the first thing than I though twhile looking at this was : ''what kind of crearure this girl is supposed to be ? '' I usualy prefer closer focus but given the girl I understand why you did go that way.

One critique though, I think you have blurred a bit too much with this one. The contrast is too big now.

There's most likely more peoples than ''pass by here'' than wat you think, it's just than I am one of the fews than try to give C&C. The issue isn't present only on your threat, it's pretty much the case of every threads of graphic Designer/ Photoshop user on the forum right now.

As for the sig, I would have to agree with Godlike1889 the blurring is a bit too strong. It could be interesting to see more clearly the pink/red of the background.

I will probably wear it in the future. Thank.

As for the BG it is so blurred because it was a bit messy and would have looked really full if I hadn't made it so.

ganbaru, it is rather strange, before I remember that my thread used to be buried under other gazillions but now it still stays on the main page without me updating so much. Thanks for the C&C! /gives cookie

Now a few things from the new longer-lasting theme that me and the other admin are making on our forum (I do the graphics, he does the scripting). I will printscreen a few things and the rest will turn them into image links.

This is the "banner" which is really composed of 9 images and each of them is a hyperlink leading to an anime genre subforum. My resolution is quite big but for smaller ones there are arrows on each side so you can basically "scroll" left and right.

And since one of the theme is sci-fi (the other is fantasy/mahou) we have introduced anime sci fi elements in the image space on the subforum index as you can see and also in the thead. A lot of the tweaks are hand made and in the updates to come I've painted effects myself while trying not to kill my eyes.

For those 9 categories of anime we haven't updated the forum with the images like in the image above, since I've just done them today and my "co-worker" is sleeping. But I will come back with more!

And now the 3 main ranks that I've just redone in the past 2 hours:

Hey Mittwoch! Yeah, like Godlike said, I check out artists' threads all the time, just don't always comment. I'm glad to see you back in action, your work has always been top notch and very different from anyone else's. Your style is utterly unique and I love it!
The blue sig is really cool, the first thing that I thought was the girl looks like she's climbing out of the sig almost; great use of depth there. The flame signature from your last update is my fav though, because it's simply stunning. the 3-dimensionality, the effects, and the girl just flow together smoothly and the sig is (pardon the pun) on fire!
Where do you get your stocks/renders/etc? I've never seen anything like most of them, esp. the realistic ones.
