Irfanview is better. Completely free and can link to your codecs/media players so you can do screencaps and edit like a basic paint progam.

I'm personally rather fond of ComicsViewer.
It's fast, can load directly from ZIP and RAR files and was made specifically for (Asian) comics. |

I use windows XP's built in image viewer. You can't view the images in a zip file (well... unless you view them one at a time) but otherwise it's got everything you'd need. Plus it's really fast and uses like no memory at all. I uninstalled ACDsee the moment I found out about it.

Windows ImageViewer doesn't work great for me. For example, if I want to view images full screen I have to start the slide show and then pause it, which is annoying (especially when I accidentally unpause it). After exiting full-screen, it goes back to the image I started on. So if I just spent the last 20 minutes reading and all the sudden an IM window pops up or I accidentally hit the wrong key on the keyboard, I have to scavage thru the directory to find that image again (I've actually had the manga spoiled for me once because of this). Image Viewer may be good for some other purposes, but IMO its not for manga.
