I think the animation studio did a very good job in developing kotonoha as a character, so far Sekai seems rather like a sub character than a main heroine to me. Gotta admit, Kotonoha is growing on me, I mean sure she does seem hard to please but then again, if you think about it, she's new to this so you can't blame her for acting that way. Makoto well I don't really have anything to say about him except that reading a Swimsuit megazine on a date is teh lose...

Anyway, I am seriously hoping for a happy end.

Although i agree with the general statement that Makoto is an idiot. I also feel for him i mean this is his first girlfriend he really does not know what to do. I loved Episode 3!

Why does Sekai work in a cafe dressed up like that? Or is this one of those 'Dating Sims' themes where everyone has to work at some kind of sleazy job.

Well... sekai wears somewhat a MUCH "normal" waitress costume in the game.
But i must agree : this "dress" is weird (not really pretty in fact, but flat ugly)

Apparently her employer doesnt think uniforms that actually match the establishment are best.....Frankly she looks like she should be in a club or something even less then that.

I mean if where going to go the fanservice route atleast let it be semi-classy...I personally suggest a traditional meido outfit.

Yeah, I don't really blame Makoto too much for his first date shenanigans. I can remember the first time I went on a date back as a teenager. All those hormones rushing through you, the panic and fear of not knowing what to do, and wanting desperately to touch something soft...ahem. Anyway, at least he tried to do something about it by getting a book. It coulda been worse, and now he learned a valuable lesson: women don't think at all the same way as men.

I def agree. However, remember that this was his first time ever. So I'm cutting him some slack for lack of experience. Besides, if everyone was perfect at dating right off the bat, then dating wouldn't be scary and people wouldn't have to be shy.

Spoiler: Planning a date based on what he read on a book? The guy must get in contact to learn how to understand a ladies' feelings. Thankfully, Sekai insisted on Katsura to have a talk with her about properly explaining that Makoto is just like the normal guys, but he is restraining himself because he wants to work hard in order to impress Katsura that he's worthy of becoming her boyfriend. It does seems to work for now, as Katsura and Makoto finally get to properly apologize and mend the bad impression he previously left on her. But what about Sekai, as Katsura remarked? Doesn't she also loves Makoto, since both are attached on teasing-friendly terms with each other?
