the thing about sakaki's fight is that the Spear of the Core stabbed him, Sakaki can recover from that, but its a different thing from having a fist go through someone. if u look at the chapter when miu's mother died, u can clearly see that Miu's mother was a master class fighter, which didnt mean a thign when it comes to having a hole in your body. if apachai dies, then kenichi will finally understand what tanaka felt when his master was killed by ogata.

We don't know, because Kenichi was killed once by Koukin and he is facing him with a feeling of revenge already; we even don't know if Apachai is dead or not, the chances are high, i'm ok with that, but i don't know if Kenichi would understand Tanaka.

What frightens me the most is that the mangaka isn't afraid of killing characters... Miu's mother, Shou Kanou and Jihan...

And he was a Ryouzampaku master dammit. We're talking about the guys who can finish off singlehandedly entire armies... They were supposed to be invincible dammit!!

This is going to be the toughest trial for Kenichi... The only good outcome of this is that jerk Koukin is pretty much screwed now. Kenichi is going to mop the floor with him.

If anyone were to become another disciple of Ryouzanpaku, I would've cast my ballot towards Kisara, if only because of events in the prototype of the story (the five-volume one whose name I can't recall).

Never know Muay Thai has that kind of thrust move. And I think the real reason why they have to do "Wai Kru" is because of superstition. Most Thais still believe in ghosts and supernatural things, including the spirits of the deceased. Wai Kru is the ritual that every Muay Thai fighters have to do in the official fights.

Really action packed chapter. So it looks like both masters went down in a draw. Really loved Kenichi's flashbacks with Appachi and how he really was losing his cool. Now it looks like both disciples are fighting on rage alone, which is going to be interesting on how that plays out next chapter. Can not wait for next week.

Wow... This is the best fight so far, IMO. While I can appreciate a manga just fine without drama, I'm forced to agree that a little bit "oh shit!!" really turned things up a notch.

Yeah, I've been waiting a long time for this. An amazing brawl, no more fancy tricks or techniques, Kenichi in unstoppable rage mode, the only thing in his mind is just to hit your opponent harder than they hit you. And for the master's fight, a draw...Hmm, if no help immediately comes (thankfully it seems that at least Akisame is coming, don't know if he's enough though) then Apachai is definitely a goner. If so, Kenichi and everyone else will definitely take a more serious, darker approach, not to mention the series as a whole. It's not really impossible and might be interesting to see, but I don't want to see Apa die...

Why are people declaring him dead so soon? I mean if you compare Bleach to Kenichi, the wounds every bleach character gain or inflict and survive afterwards. The wound that Apachai, is kinda like a papercut. LOl

I don't think Bleach is a good comparison. People with half their body blown off can still get it back in that series.
