hahahaha your talking about Onodera and Raku yea that was bad but this will be worse because somebody is going to interrupt them and everybody knows it the question is who think about it every romance moment that could choose a girl has been interrupted in some way and this one is gonna be cringe worthy

It's practically begging to be interrupted. All joking aside the situation accomplished what it was intending to do, which is pointing out to Lala her childlike innocence toward relationships and the deeper aspects of physical intimacy, hence her sudden curiosity at it. She's had her character development so a kiss at this point would just be simple fanservice to the readers soooooo high chance for interrupt.

This could also be more stealth development for Momo who's listening in, remember she originally started the Harem from her own affection for Rito in an effort to create something she could insert herself into so that she could receive love from Rito too. She already felt surprised over feeling jealously over Nana's development with Rito, she may suddenly find out that she's not as ok as she thought she was at sharing Rito with Lala....

Old Lala was more fun to see then expected... The childlike comment from Mikan actually made sense. Harem plan all the way... Rito with your god like abilities you better make everyone happy.

Anyhow, the actual twist next chapter will be if no one actually interrupts Rito and Lala.

Truthfully what Momo should be doing is getting lala AND harunas approval for a harem after he confesses to haruna and if they both agree to it then go ahead and go along with the harem plan and make each girl confess to Rito and have Rito fall for them as well but hey that's my outlook on things

Sapper you forget the harem plan is a secret and no doubt even though she seems stupid lala will eventually ask why she wants to go that far. Plus Rito wont confess to haruna its kinda a lost art

What, a couple of pages? That's not nearly enough. Momo in this chapter alone had more satisfying character development than Lala, seeing how deliciously confused she's getting over her original harem plan. All that's happened with Lala so far is she's trying to advance their relationship, but it won't mean much if nothing changes between them after this, and nothing will change if someone interrupts and they forget all about it.

I can think of many interruptions:
- Rito trips over nothing and passes out.
- She loses her courage just before the kiss.
- Nana sneaks into the bathroom.
- Mikan knocks on the door: "Saruyama is on the phone!"
- Lala's mother appears in the bathtub. She wants to meet her son-in-law.
- Master Nemesis causes a ruckus in the neighbourhood.
- Rito hesitates. The prinicipal runs into the bathroom: "Oh, Lala-chan. Kiss me! I am ready for your kisses!"

Your statement proves the great flaw of this manga lala is th lead and she has no development at all besides worse inventions
