Grave Of The Fireflies - No anime (or live action film, for that matter) ever made me feel as bad as i did watching that.

Other than that, i would say the ending of the second series of Jigoku Shoujo was pretty sad too.

Elfin Lied had one of the saddest plots ever. even with all the killing.

Martian Successor Nadesico/Prince of Darkness - the way this ended was so depressing.

Code Geass - another one that had me in tears even after everything Lelouch did his actions were totaly selfless and in the end gave everything he was so others could be happy. i know alot of people wont agree with me but i dont give a shit.

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien pretty much that whole series was sad.

Elfen Lied, those last few episodes were hard to get through. The story line just came together and got so intense.

Chobits was also very sad, there were a lot of tear jerking moments. Especially that last episode
Spoiler for scene:

Clannad After Story, Kanon, Chobits, Elfen Lied, H20 Footprints in the Sand, and many more - just can't remember off the top of my head.

Clannad After Story, hands down.

KimiNozu's also a stand out, and Saikano and Air TV.

Jeez I need to rewatch these, I've forgotten how much impact the series' had on me.

Grave of the fireflies, many tears of sadness and pain. I was tearing up just reading the summary and seeing the story unfold was almost physically painful. It's a masterpiece but I wonder if I'll ever gather up the courage to watch it again.

Yeah, I heard that for those that have seen that movie it would make them tear up. My best friend told me that once. It sounds good, but I haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

The ones that made me tear up would be the last episode of Kannazuki no Miko, as well as the last episode of Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A's.

mine is Tokimeki Memorial only love.

when Riku is moving for the third year and Sayuri was crying and miss him in the end.

the good part is they text each other on the cellphone.

too bad Riku wasnt really staying on his second year of high school.

its because of his father's occupation.

in the series "Samurai Champloo" went their seperate ways when
I thought that they became attached to eachother's well being!!!
Though in the series, Mugen and Jean Did say that after they help
her they were going to go their seperate ways.
I thought that could CHAANGE! ...
I also cried when "L" from death note died.

I think the following are solid choices for the less obvious from the latter part of this thread
"anime movie Spirited Away"
"Samurai Champloo" But the episode where Fuu visited & told the mother her son was dead.
