Could be someone else. Especially since they've just established how much of a powerhouse she is. But yeah, it could be one of the primary heroes (could be Rio or Corona too, they're part of the main cast too, and hopefully not going to be replaced like Yuuno or Arf (or, help them, Nanoha's friends and family from the first season pretty much)), a friend vs. friend fight. But I think a major opponent beating her is also plausible.

Yup it can be anyone but at least that official art depicting a fight between her and Vivio looks very interesting, seeing the Takamachi/Nakajima family against the Yagami-ke on a friendly cheerleading battle sounds pretty funny xD

Frankly I'm getting tired of seeing highly trained and experienced fighters being beaten by beginners.
"I'm sorry, but your hard work means nothing before those with natural talent. Effort gets you nowhere so don't even bother trying."

Sorry. Anyway, not that I was rooting for the midget, but while I share the "why must veterans lose against rookies" sentiment wasn't Miura also highly trained? She has the wolkies acting as Mr. Miyagi! And katana girl probably lost because her massive juggs impeded her maneuvering

Plus, you can't really say that's happening here what with Vivio specifically taking a route that will require training and hard work, and Erio and Teana managing to defeat their respective teachers through the same.

Miura is no wondertalent that blazes through everything without training, but she's still a beginner fighting more with talent than experience. By all rights she should have been totally creamed by her opponent, who has several years with of training and experience under her belt. But meh, it's not like this is new to Nanoha. Nanoha beat the more experienced Fate and Nanoha and Fate went toe-to-toe with the war-veteran Wolkies. I do agree that the message here seems to be "screw your hard work, I've got talent" but worrying about it now makes me want to check my watch and go tell you you're late to the party. |

Really, arguing about her winning is pretty pointless when we don't really know how it happened yet. That could make it worse, granted, but maybe her spell is just that good? That's basically how Nanoha beat Fate, surprising her with new stuff. And hey, it's not like Nanoha was a rookie when she fought Fate for the last time either.
'sides, Miura's barely standing at the moment, so it's not like she won with no effort. |
