then you'd probably find it a good show until you read how gonzo changed various events that occured in the manga. after that your opinion might change on the anime.

np, glad to help out. i find the power of the imagination is quite useful in the case or RV se1 anime, especially at certain events.

Well I want to see this but it looks like only the first four episodes are actually working torrent wise for me. NUKE has the first four for torrents. Episodes 5 through 13 I'm attempting to torrent Ayako-BakaWolf but there just aren't any seeders out there for them. So it's going to take a very long while.

watched all 13 episodes, and they are, as i said before, brilliant. its also got traces of dragon ball z in it. loved it

This must be a really outdated and late response, but w/e...

So I attempted to watch the anime adaptation (up-to-date with manga version both first and second season), and really disliked it. I apologize to those in advance to those who liked the series.

So first off, there were some problems with the adaptation. Although if you've been watching a lot of anime you'll see that that's usually the case.

(I know there some unnecessary scenes but y'know you'll tend to ignore them after a while)

I'll probably have a rant, so I'll put it in spoilers to not torture you all.. I just need to vent in a way ^^''

So when I watched the first season, I was like wha? Since there was like a panty shot almost everywhere they could put it. I understand you want to have fanservice like any normal anime, but seriously! It can get annoying too especially when serious events are taking place and there's too much of it!

Another problem with the series was the THROUGHOUT the whole god-dang series, they relied almost 100% on Moka. I know it was like that at first in the manga, but at least later on the Tsukune at least become somewhat reliable and actually DID something. That and the fact that he actually fought too.

I didn't mind too much about the re-arrangement of certain characters being introduced (like Ruby-san after Mizore-chan), but some of those scenes were changed almost too much to make it seem during that event the current antagonist made them seem a lot worse than in the manga.

And the final thing that I needed to rage about was THE DANG ENDING. Seriously! I was waiting for the whole darn season for Tsukune to actually BE INJECTED with vampire's blood which did happen. But problem was, he didn't do ANYTHING EXCEPT MOVED REALLY FAST.
I thought this was also Tsukune's moment to shine too? In the manga, Moka and with the help of uber-powered Tsukune at least defeated Kiyou together but instead Moka takes credit AGAIN. Leaving Tsukune not fighting ever, and as well never making Tsukune turning into a GHOUL which actually what made this story now interesting.

*sigh* Sorry if I'm raging too much... I just wanted to get that out since it was really bugging me and
I apologize again if you guys like this season! Truly sorry! (not trying to be sarcastic)

Oh and:
TL;DR - Probably good if you've never watched it, otherwise missing a lot from it's original.

No, no, you're totally right, I agree with you in almost point you made, but you know, I'm that kind of person who don't mind whether the anime strictly follows the manga or not.

I too am up to date with both anime and manga. I agree with the whole thing about Tsukune in the series' final episode. Then again, there were some parts in the anime that did appeal to me.

I find the anime to be 90% comedy and 10% action/plot while manga is about 50% on action/plot.

So yeah, I laughed a lot ^^

Ha, Rosario to Vampire, - this show served as the perfect past time during my flight back home to Tokyo from London. It wasn't overly complex nor boring, just casually amusing and easy to digest. It's great to see that a second season is now airing... I've read the manga here and there so I have a general idea of what's to come, - but I'll definitely attempt to catch this show on TV when I have the chance.

Presumably the author/mangaka receives a license fee? He's probably crying over his paycheck. Still, ecchi is surprisingly hot right now (always has been?), - maybe he likes this perverse rendition!

Nah...the only time the manga got REALLY ecchi is vol.10. Got the first 2 licensed manga volumes , and all I can say is great character developments.

The anime should be consistent in both seasons imho.

In the manga and anime how Tsukune was known to be human was similar, in the anime it was more dramatic lol.
