More characters revealed.
I can barely tell the difference between these girls. In typical Stan Lee fashion, he's inserted himself as a character. Just like with Ultimo, he'sthe main villain.

Episode 1....
Eh....this felt like reading a comic book except it's animated. It's going to take a lot of time to get used to the animation style. We got superheroes in a series although I find the main characters too mysterious. The plot felt like it was all over the place as well. Going to give this a few more episodes. It's noticable that the episode takes place in US, New York.

It's definitely captured that US comic-book look, though I have to admit I laughed at the 'ZAP' and 'POW' bits. I thought we'd left that kind of stuff behind.
That said, looks like it's pretty much Stan Lee doing his Stan Lee thing same as the old Stan Lee thing and I'm not a fan. Will give it a few more episodes to see if I'm wrong. |

I personally loved it, finally something unique that isn't trying to ape every other anime ever. Also, locations other than Japan? Finally an anime where the entire plot isn't miraculously happening within the radius of the MCs location.
Also, Stan Lee makes a cameo as the narrator for the next episode end card.

English Simuldub Cast Announced!
Most interesting thing probably is that Funimation managed to get Stan Lee to actually play his role! |

The art style was great, comic book in animated form.
The animation on the other hand, could definitely be better. I mean I-Guy's fight totally lacked impact and emphasis, at times it just seems like two color blobs colliding with each other. X-On's fight was better animated but still lacked the impact feel. Still pretty interesting show would like to see more, who here also thought I-Guy was Sky High from T&B?

The animation is probably the biggest weakness here. It feels like they are just trying to adapt comic book fights without making the changes necessary for a new medium which results in the fights just looking like two masses of color smashing into each other.
"I'm sorry, I'm from LA". I got to admit, that was pretty funny.
