I think I have always liked Erza but I think my favourite moment & the moment I knew I liked her was fight with the knightwalker Erza where she defeated her by turning her good pretty much plus it was just a great fight with some sly Erza fan service.

What i like about Erza is her code of honor kind of thing. Like how in the Fairy Tail race she still takes it seriously even tho it's just a race, and how she told Freed it was a serious offence to mess with her arcing rhythm. lol i like that about her.

BTW, how old is Erza? i've read 19, but i think i may keep thinking of her as 25.

erza can change her weapon freely, can change her armor freely and guess what she even change into her pajamas using re-quip magic, she can change her outfit anywhere anyhow
and she is 19 ,how is it that you think that she is 25

She looks 25 to me. I think Lucy looks more 19. Okay, so here's my age chart for FT:

some of these are debut ages , so there might be slight increase by one in a few of them, if anyone's birthday has passed since the series started

lol the ages i posted are just the ages i personally feel like they are. I know their real ages. Cana at 18 is just too weird for me rofl.

Tho with that said, sometimes the ages are not always congruent with each other. Once Lucy's age was said to be 17 then 18 then 17 an episode later.

I'm not sure why people keep wanting to treat Natsu as though he's younger than Gray, Elfman, Gajeel, Alzack, Jet, and Droy when he's never been treated as though he's younger than them.

I'm not sure why people keep wanting to treat Natsu as though he's younger than Gray, Elfman, Gajeel, Alzack, Jet, and Droy when he's never been treated as though he's younger than them.

It's interesting how they never show the age of Natsu and Gajeel and imply that they're far older than they look, but still clearly mention Wendy to be twelve.

that's because he is kiddish and immature than others,
so dragon slayers are ancient as well, it might not be possible that natsu's age will be some hundreds ,because when he joined the guild he was a kid, he is definately not older than makarov or gildarts or else they would have known about the existence of dragon slayers before natsu joined the guild

Can someone tell me why Ex-quip is holder-type? Feels more like caster-type to me...

Because the ExQuip pulls from a separate storage area/dimension where their weapons reside. She's not creating a weapon from pure magic alone.

Erza's ExQuip is different because she can also store a large number of Armors there as well. Her technique is ExQuip, her magic is called 'The Knight'.

I always thought holder-type meant using an object to channel their magic power. Erza is able to pull out weapons without using a magic sword to slice through dimensions, unlike how Lucy needs to have her keys to open the gates. I just thought her magic is more of caster, since even without a sword or an armor she can still use her magic.

If my memory serves me properly, she mentions buying some of her armors as well. I believe it was only the novelty outfits though.

Strangely, I find one of Erza's more redeeming qualities to be how eccentric she is in regards to costumes and such. It parallels with her serious and honorable attitude very nicely and helps to break the monotony of the "knight" character. Although I suppose you could say the same for nearly every character since they all have quirks that often betray their normal personalities.
