Feel free to discuss any music related subjects for Tales of the Abyss here (OP/ED & OST, etc.). As the usual rule, NO POSTING LINKS TO MP3s OR ASKING FOR THEM. You may buy them at the usual place such as cdjapan and what not, but DO NOT ask for or post links to any music downloads. This includes, but isn't limited to:
  • any RAR, ZIP, 7-ZIP archive
  • Torrents
  • The names of other BT sites that list music torrents
  • Direct downloads

Some nice pieces of music in episode 09 --- especially the piano piece played during the conversation between Tear and Luke, plus the piece of music when he starts to cut his hair. Do they appear on the game's soundtrack by any chance?

I kinda hate that it was reused, but the song is still one of my favorites to ever be created.

really love Karma, even if I prefer the game op version, the anime version is good to.
I do not like Tear's song, for some reason the way that she sings so relaxed and soft even in the middle of a difficult battle is strange o_õ

...it's part of the Grand Fonic Hymn. It'd have to sound soothing and chant-like. Which doesn't make it sound odd to me at all even in the middle of a battle. In fact, I found it haunting and mysterious and maybe even a little creepy when you hear it among all the Raging Blast!s and Tiger Blade!s and what have you. It's like a tiny spot of calm amidst all the chaos. And I like that. Very much.

Haha, I know what you mean. I like the song, but as I commented somewhere else, it's kind of like having Enya in your party. It's not exactly good to get the adrenaline going for a battle, is it?
