Mark my words, the CGI movie will be considered a masterpiece compared to the Live-action. In fact, I quite liked it, looked great visually and the action was good.

Isn't Marin in the trailer? She looks exactly like herself.

I'm more disappointed Shaina doesn't seem to be in it.

It definitely seems like they've taken the helmets from the CG movie as inspiration.

I don't know, man. From that thumbnail alone, the Saint Cloth looks wrong. And the helmet looks more like Casshern than anything from the SS.

I'm not sure if Marin is Seiya's mentor here, but Sean Bean was the one instructing Seiya's actor there.

We see Seiya in his training outfit so I assume Marin is still the one who physically trains him in how to use his Cosmo.

Pop singer P!nk contributes her song "Courage" as the film's theme song. The tagline on the poster reads, "Rise beyond destiny."

The film will also premiere... In America? I thought the franchise was ridiculously more popular in Europe (especially Spain and Italy) than in America and Japan. Same with Brazil.

Also judging by the latest trailer Ikki (or is that Nero?) is one of the main antagonists.

The franchise is a lot more popular in other countries than USA.

The issue is they are trying to attract American audience, because that market tend to be more profitable. That's the same reason the CGI Knights of the Zodiac was created trying to attract American audience.

Of special note is Megumi Han playing a role her mother, Keiko Han, originated as the original Saori/Athena and Daisuke Namikawa going from playing Camus to Ikki/Nero.

I assume Mackenyu is also voicing Seiya for the Japanese dub.

It really feels like a "Beginning" considering there are barely two Bronze Saints fighting ala Highlander, while Marin and the other ones are barely seen in the trailers.

Guess they did like the Netflix and Crunchy show to appeal more to Westerns. Now let's hope they don't change Shun's gender again.

Still, something that might be changed could Seiya's sexism. In the original manga he refuses to fight women for some reason (well the manga was from the 80s) which was kinda hilarious since in some filler episodes Seiya had no problems fighting Shaina or another female fighter. Even more, Seiya was trained by Marin so I'm kinda confused how Kurumada came up with giving him such morals. Even in the latest Jump crossover Seiya refuses to fight Rukia from Bleach causing her anger (though it could also be a nod to Morita as also voices Ichigo)

Considering they're using the names and concepts from the Netflix show (like the military official trying to kill Athena) they're for sure going to gender-bent Shun again.

I'm actually surprised Shaina's not in this.
