I'm another one who got hooked by the anime, began reading the TokyoPop releases from the beginning hoping for a better ending than the Gainax series. While I enjoyed the manga as it developed from light to dark, I eventually lost interest with the soap opera-ness of it all and just stopped buying at around 18 or 19... I really can't even remember which. Maybe its time to pick it up and go buy the last issues afterall.

Ahhh, I just finished volume 21, i love these endings, it feels so complete. im glad the author didnt leave anything out

actually ... something i've been thinking of last time i reread it ... when is the first time its suggested that Yukino and Arima have taken their love to the next level (from 'couple' to 'lovers') ... as far as i can see its just after Takefumi have landed in early volume 7 when they are schoolwork late in the afternoon

Kare Kano looks a great manga series, as it's the genre that I love the most anyway

aznxbuddha Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2007	Ahhh, I just finished volume 21, i love these endings, it feels so complete. im glad the author didnt leave anything out Spoiler for end: although it was a great ending, i think the transition from when they ended school to 16 years later was a little rushed. This is only because I wanted to see Arima and miazawa's wedding and the birth of her children, but thats my only complaint
