Haven't the Japs coined a new term for this type of characters? I think it's Kuudere... or something like that.

As for why I liked the little sister better, I guess she reminded me of Anna Kyōyama from Shaman King. Well, little sister is almost completely passive, whereas Anna was passive-aggressive. Even so, their designs and their regular personalities are quite similar.

I recognize that term, but Mikoto#2 doesn't match my understanding of it. She's not a cool-type; from a chapter's worth of impressions, she lacks the... social consciousness(?) for that. Instead, she's the emotionless, "I do not understand your strange human customs" kinda character.

Kuu literally means empty or air.

Now in context of Kuudere. The Kuu (empty) part pertains to the emotionlessness of the character. The dere part is the payoff as the character later goes on loving girl mode.

ex.

Rei of Evangelion with Shinji running away for their lives and his father. She blushes when they are alone.

Zero of G-On Riders from emotionless maid android to dojiko around the male lead.

Vanilla H in the Galaxy Angel games.

Ruri Hoshino of Nadesico when even she sarts to have romantic inclinations.

Chachamaru of Negima again android in dojiko mode.

Alternate Yuki Nagato in Disapperance of Suzumiya Haruhi.

Tabitha of Zero no Tsukaima: Princess no Rondo. She got the hots for Saito.

Wow... That was brutal... I mean, I expected as much from the infamous Accelerator that I've heard so much about, but that was nasty...

Eiyahh~ Alot of big words for this chapter, looks like I would have to wait for the english scans to completely understand it. But the gist from what I got is-

1. Touma staying back for another extra class with Komoe. Touma still hasn't figured out his imagination breaker yet, or maybe he did and was just playing along with Komoe since she wouldn't believe him? Either way, he's being lazy about it which then we learn from here that a certain scientific railgun is currently ranked No. 3 in the entire city.


2. After school, Touma 'coincidentally' ran into Mikoto. After some cute teasing from Mikoto-

Mikoto: "So, is there a problem?"

Touma: "Not really~~ If we're heading the same way then lets go back together."

Mikoto: "Hehh ~"

Mikoto: "You actually said 'lets going home together' to a high class lady? Do you know how many boys had to work hard just to say what you've just said?"

Touma: "I hate people would thinks they're so great..."

Mikoto: "Just kidding "

- On the serious side, Mikoto had a sudden reaction when Touma mentioned her 'sister'... Makes me wonder how big of a mess has Touma just walked into...


3. The conversation change to something about the airship that is making announcements in the city... Mikoto is quite the sci-fic fan huh Talking about the romance between the relationship of human and machine...

Then something about a robot meido...

(Flashback: Macademi Wassho... )


4. What incredible luck, for Touma to run into said Imouto after flirting with Mikoto... Unfortunately, there's alot more terminology discussion that I would need the english scans to understand... But the general idea is this-

Imouto + Kitten = Love

5. Okay, there's alot of big words so I'm not sure if I'm getting this right, but XLR8-tor's power is... To control the direction of the which any attack is coming? At first I thought it was levitation as he reflect the bullet, but it seems he can also reflect supernatural powers...?

His ability is called "Redirection", a form of telekinesis which anything he touches, he can change their vector values from the speed to the direction it goes. For example, he can simply kill a person just by reversing the flow of blood inside one's body, or can choose to greatly uplift the velocity of wind around him, causing a massive plasma storm. He has to consciously allow gravity to affect him, and can block out all sound. Furthermore, this ability is automatic so thus projectiles like bullets or bombs have no effect on him as they will be redirected.

Just to be specific on his abilities

Accelerator surrounds himself with a very thin shield, which would reverse the vector of anything that comes toward him. Accelerator subconsciously set the shield to reflect any type of forces and matter outside the minimum needs that sustain his life, like air and such. The reason why he looks albino, he receives a lot less sunlight and other natural sources which lead to his unnatural growth. Though, the reason this ability is so powerful is mostly because of Accelerator's processing speed, be able to compute the movement of all the matters in mere seconds. Also, it is unknown whether his power can reflect magics, but Accelerator has power that highly resembles Telasma, so I wouldn't be surprised if he can.

BTW, I am pretty sure Accelerator's ability name is also Accelerator, not redirection. Also, the name in Japanese is "一方通行", which means "one way".

My guess is that it depends on what kind of magic, if he could redirect electricity then I don't think fire would be much different. If I'm understanding both of you two's description correctly, as long as it has a physical value, Accelerator can control it..

The only way I can see to defeat this is to somehow encase the boy in a vacuum or in an environment at absolute zero temperature. Maybe create a firestorm with him in the center and suffocate him.

Good guess, someone eventually is going to try that. But Accelerator later on got a hold of way to fight off that too. Accelerator's ability only have two weakness outside Imagine Breaker. And those weakness eventually got over up as well....

Attempting to bypass the repulsion field by teleporting a foreign object into his head. Say an armed and primed grenade Unless the field stops that as well >_<. It's either that or the ability to phase through solid matter.

I wonder if he can turn invisible using that field. Just ghost in and nuke the opposition
