Basically a DA whose ability suits the RL occupation/hobby of the Burst Linker. For instance, Ash Roller has his Night Rocker and he's a professional bike racer IRL as well, which is why he was able to use it from the very beginning with a certain degree of expertise. Cyan Pile would be also a perfect match avatar if instead of his Pile Driver, an unfamiliar weapon he wielded a sword.

Utai believes the reason why Ardor Maiden (red-white miko uniform) and Mirror Masker (half-silver, half-white) are coloured so might be because of their training as performers; they're born in a family of the Arts. The two sides to themselves is reflected in their duel avatars as such.

I was mistaken about who's the Perfect Match; Mirror Masker may or may not be one, it's not explicity stated. What is, though, is that Utai took to the Unlimited Field to practice her performances because RL her grandfather denied her of the privilege of going onstage. Her avatar ended up as the 'maiden that performs', thus eliciting the Perfect Match remark from Hauryuki as a result.

No updates from me the next two days, I'm having out of camp training.

Now that I'm back, I'll do my best to begin translation of V11.5 straightaway on my phone while I complete V11.4 on my laptop.

Eternal Dreamer seems to have released chapter 7 of volume 5 last week. Looks like he's still planning to continue until it gets taken down. I hope he gets to at least finish the volume.

Is it true that Black Vise confronted Silver Crow a second time when he had the Disaster equipped somewhere in V9? If so, did he use any techniques that we didn't see in the first 'battle' (that is, when he trapped poor Crow)?

To the best of my knowledge Vice never appeared again after V5 (not counting the flashback in V7.) His next appearance is described secondhand in V14 though, which isn't relevant here.

Will vol 5 translation be completed? AW was licensed and its in chapter 8 already. I fear it will be abandon when its nearing the climax

Actually, he appeared once again volume 9. He caused the CD to manifest itself again by setting up BL to "kill" SB. Essentially, a mirror copy. This resulted in CD curbstomping BL. In the end, SC managed to calm down CD. BV was defeated by the "Sekiha Love Love Tenkyoken" of BL and SC. Although, SC wanted to camp BV to death. BL convinced no to considering their health.

1. Their abilities are listed as 'Light Shadow' and 'Latent Shadow' respectively in V12.

2. Both talk like businessmen and in the same manner, don't they?.

3. Black Vise can alter his appearance, essentially being able to become anyone he wants to. Given how Ivory Tower is the 'Plenipotentiary representant' of the White Legion, and how the president of the ARS is the white king as well, it would not be strange for the vice president of the ARS to have a position of power as well.

4. Both have MtG themed names.

I agree you're onto something here, but a minor correction :P

1. Based on my Chinese V12 copy, Tower's ability is given as 薄影，while Vise has his as 潜影. 薄 would literally mean 'thin/weak', or 'light' referring to weight. On the other hand, 潜 would mean 'hidden/ (to) conceal' or 'latent.' The official translation is 'Under Cover' and 'Shadow Lurker' respectively.

3. It's not been explicitly stated Vise can actually change his form, just second-hand info from Niko. :P

Still, I agree that it would not be strange for such a useful player to be highly-ranked in both fronts of a legion/circle.

So when the licensed novel be out will the rest of the translated volumes be abandoned or do you think they could just removed the volumes that would be released like when the 1st volume is officially released they just remove the translated one but keep the rest until the other volumes are officially released.

From a series of PMs within the upper echelons of BT, the current course of action is to play safe and erase everything once V1 comes out. As of now I think no one can confirm if the license of AW is for V1-4 or all the volumes.

It's pretty reasonable to assume it's for all volumes. I don't think I've ever heard of a situation where a company licenses just part of a series. They usually license the whole series, then periodically renew the license.
