Dunno, being the only sane woman and a total badass might be the reason. Also, her brain, beauty and body. Not to mention the incest subtext (YMMV).

She also Memetic Badass in-universe, so it's understandable.

Still don't excuse why something 3 times faster can be shot easily with a rifle.

Yes, basically. Quite ironic when later in the story, she has Romantic-friendship vibes with Houki.

(by this point though she's a complete individual rather than Ichika's stalker/worshiper)

If you're talking about the jet, then it's probable the computer can calculate a projected path. Hence the huge difference between a lock-on and manual aim. I think?

Hell, I have a sexually gay friend that fell for a girl romantically and has steady relationship until marriage (though they have some problem with sex and babies initially, it's already solved somewhat). There's also my androphobic cousin that has problem because she's totally attracted to her male friend.

Ayup, maybe that. The reason Sky grasper has impressive kill count, because it's a fighter that has beam turret.

Hence why the F-15 pilot uses its airbrakes often and even shut off the jet's engine at one point to catch the drone off-guard despite it's advanced targetting tech.

A highly seasoned pilot, people would most likely think it was Warwolf One... but then again, Warwolf One isn't really part of JSDF.

but wouldn't air braking require some advanced skill? A jet's ability to fly is in the amount of thrust it produces right? If you suddenly air brake too long, wouldn't your jet... stall or something?(you probably discussed this before but I still want to ask.)

Since it was crystal clear that Irish is heterosexual, the problem comes into the fact whether Irish can overcome his phobia or not. And whether it's for select few or all female in general.

Airbrake combined with certain maneuver can make your plane STAND STILL for several second without stalling, but the g-force is awful.

Uh guys, got any intel on the Uchigane Nishiki?

I think I have something in mind with that IS. And I want it to be as close to canon as possible. I know that it has missle pods and a halberd, but anything else?

If you notice from the scene I posted, stalling IS one of the methods the ace F-15 pilot used to throw off the drone's aiming.

Though he quickly recovers by pointing the nose straight down while hitting the thrusters, quickly gaining enough airspeed to glide the plane into level.

He is heterosexual, but others, most notably his own teammates in the flashback chapters, called him gay or other homosexual slang because of his phobia and effeminate appearance. The whole crossdressing thing makes it worse.

Side note - You think Maya has any younger siblings?

Jak - All we know is that it has a halberd and it's better than the regular Uchigane.

Makes me think the glory days about my super prototype Sukhoi S-37, but beaten by an Ace pilot and his F-15E due to that damned maneuver.

(note that F-15 can fly without one of it's wings due to it's body shape)

As Stratos said, you can use gravity to accelerate after stalling.

@Jak
lack the skirt, has 4x 8-tube missile box, and a pair of beam cannon, and has no arm part.
