Looks like two references in one; Saber is in red and has what looks like Saber Extra's sword.
Actually, if you look at the Archer stand-in, he has Emiya Kiritsugu's hairstyle, and guns that are somewhat reminiscent of the Magus Killer's Thompson Contender pistol. That would make it three Type-Moon storylines referred to in the one pic; Fate/Stay Night, Fate/Zero and Fate/Extra.

Y'know, I feel really bad for Kyousuke getting that kind of treatment. Seriously, Kyousuke was tough enough to handle any verbal abuse Kirino throws at him despite all the help he had gave her. Well, kudos once again to Kyousuke's attitude. At the very least he was acting mature. Also....

As much as I like her, there are moments when Kirino is just so damn frustrating. Like others have said before me, Kirino becomes near unbearable when she's around her brother, and it's kind of a shame to see that their relationship kind of took a step backwards instead of forwards after the heartwarming scene in Episode 3. It sucks, but I guess I should have expected it with Kirino being a tsundere and all. I'm really hoping things get better down the road for them, because a stand-up guy like Kyosuke deserves better than garbage treatment.
And with the proper introduction of Ayase, things in OreImo have gotten a lot more interesting than they already were. Her interaction with Kyosuke is a tad suspicious (though I probably wouldn't have caught on to it the first time if I didn't read up here before watching), but I'm thinking that it has a lot more to do with Kirino than it does with Kyosuke. Ayase could be crushing on Kyosuke, but there's also the possibility that she perhaps has a crush on Kirino as well? Perhaps she wants to use Kyosuke in order to get Kirino jealous or hurt her for reasons unknown, or maybe because she knew Kirino was hiding a big secret? Perhaps I'm just thinking too much about one little interaction, and should wait until things develop a bit further? The possibilities are endless with this girl, and that's how you get me interested in a character. Sorry to all the Manami fans, but I'd much rather see Ayase get more screentime and development at this point. I really like the ending song as well; it's very ominous and seems to allude to a future that does not seem so bright... Quote:

For those of you against the accidental trip...let's remind ourselves that this is an anime where the main topic is about otaku and how their perceived in reality. The scene was tasteful (in my opinion) because, as Kyousuke stated himself, "What is this, some eroge?"
-It plays already on the fact that the directors already know: the audience is undoubtedly suspecting something romantic to happen between kyousukexkirino. They're simply trying to mess with you now for storytelling purposes, causing us to ask, "Why didn't he get up sooner?" -It expresses the irony of an actual flag being triggered in real life, something that has been stated before in the series. -It sets up the ridiculously calm attitude for Ayase in the following scene. She took the situation so well afterwards, but why? That isn't a typical reaction, especially from the angle she saw. ------- On a completely different note, I really have to applaud the extreme level of subtlety the animators put into this. When Ayase is talking to Kyousuke, you can see the tiny, minuscule shaking of her hands and arms as she's apologizing for Kirino. |

groping or not, the scene of seeing a brother falling on top of a half naked younger sister will always cause a concern to the bystanders.
What bothers me is the time the hand spent groping. It makes sense when he's cushioning her fall, not so much in this alteration. In other words: failed catch.

Hopefully their relationship won't regress this badly again, after the next pivotal moment. I consider myself a patient person, but I'm not going through all that misery just for the occasional "thank you, oni-chan" at the end of an episode, and then it's all back to square ones. I suppose I don't love little sisters hard enough |

It's the same thing with Kirino and Kuroneko, if you just listened to their conversations you'd think they hated each other but they became friends fast.

^ That's true, I went too far when I used the word regress. There is progress, but it is so incrementally slow that it felt like they were going backwards a bit. =D Plus, I was relating it more to when she was grateful to him for the first time and acknowledge it with a "thank you" (end of last episode). I assumed after that, things would change even more, but she still only talks/hangs out with him when it's about anime. Anything outside that sphere, and he is a mutant again.

I know it's not tagged as such but for me there is a certain "slice of life" element to this show.
I can actually relate to Kyousuke well enough with the exception that my wee sis doesn't have such hobby. Well my relationship with my sis was never bad, was always pretty good infact but we would bicker and fight all the time. But like Kyousuke I had to put up with her ways cause she was rather spoiled(being the only daughter parents spoiled her quite abit) but I could handle it as I'm very patient person. That or I just didn't care at times. I recall having to stay out of the living room when my sis had friends over and times being told to get out of the house, I'd just go over to mates house and play Halo anyway. Or being used as a mule when we're out together, altho thats something that still goes on today. Theres really a great feeling I get from this show, it's oddly soothing and up lifting at the same time. Like the moment Kyousuke takes up his role as the mule, it's nothing special or great yet amuses me greatly. The To Love-Ru fall was.....well cliche as it comews but was awesome! Oh and I never thought I would see the maid from the cafe again, that was nice surprise

Alot of Kirino's seemingly unending annoying behavior towards Kyousuke is not just that she's a tsundere, but the "Cold War" standing between the 2 siblings has gone on for years. To expect her to change overnight is unbelievable, and would cause as many posts decrying that behavior as the current one. But it looks like she's thawing a bit. Not as much as a few people would like however.
That said, it has certainly annoyed me as much as others. The Kirino - Kuroneko behavior of trying to out tsundere each other is brilliant. I enjoy the trash talk between those two. |

Ahh. This episode is a defininte 10/10.
I love the introduction to Ayase. The ending was a great cliff hanger and Im dying for the next episode. Good work on keeping us tuned in. I'm also hoping for a little something something with Ayase and Kyo. |

Ok, about the discuss going on with Kirino, "let's me teach you all something good" (sorry can't resist myself to borrow that line )
Why do i know that? Because these two exact scenario also happened to me before (including the model friend part). And do i feel annoyed with my sister when she pull out her "Kirino's mode"? NO!!! I in fact would absolutely thank her, because then I can act my role as an older brother without making the situation becomes awkward. Your sister if ever decide to go to wake you up. She supported to step on you and say how useless you are for being still asleep. If she make you breakfast, you supported to complaint about how bad it is, while she explained that it's only because she's practicing cooking, unless you want an awkward changing in topic . That's how a real life sister should be (IMO). I surely will just grin like Kyousuke did against all those "abuses" Anyway, let's get off the imouto part. I simply love Kirino and Kuroneko's interactions (the best part of the episode undoubtedly). They really go absolutely tsundere against each other. Kirino do love it when she talk with Kuroneko as Ayase mentioned. While I suspect the reason for Kuroneko to practice playing that game, must be so she can play against Kirino one day. Kirino x Kuroneko all the way please. I will happy to see more of their interaction, maybe if they can have a sleep-over and start to get to know each other more.... Finally the fan services. While it's undoubtedly a quality fanservice. The groping is too much as you don't put your hand over another person body during impact (it may hurt a lots). If you can't get your hand out of her body, you supported to fall flat down on her to increase the impact surface. So while the position is good fan service, the groping is plainly bad. Also, too shock to move out is an unjustified reason. So some good and some bad => Average

sorry to burst your bubble, but not all sisters are the same, just because the person is a "sister" doesn't mean she has to act a certain way. My little sister, who's 3 years younger than me, may have a foul mouth and violent temper but she never treated me with any sort of abuse. In fact it was the obvious, she clung to me, seek'd me for help and advice and I was one of her best friends. Hell her husband is scarily similar to me in many ways, but I'll just leave it as coincidence.
