Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi e/Kimi o Aishita Hitori no Boku e
This is an interesting novelty at the very least. These are two films set in alternate universes, released simultaneously but by different studios. The original novels by Otono Yomiji were released on the same day in 2016, and could "be read in either order".
Notable to me is that "Kimi" is directed by Kasai Kenichi, one of the anime titans, who's been pretty much invisible for five years.

Watched both films yesterday. I thought they were both really great. I went in only knowing the basic concept of the films: two romances set in different worlds; and was pleasantly surprised that the films had a very strong focus on sci-fi. I strongly recommend it to fans of Shinkai, to me those are the kind of movies he wishes he could make.
While it's true you can watch them in any order, I recommend Kimi (red poster) -> Boku (blue poster). Kimi takes a lot more time explaining the concepts making the second film easy to understand from the start and without watching it first you don't get the full pay-off of the ending of Boku IMO. One thing I particularly liked is that it's not about teenagers. Sure, that's where the stories start (Kimi a bit earlier), but the films spend more time on Koyomi's adulthood. I thought the writing was very strong, there's only one plot point I found stupid in Kimi but it's actually supposed to be stupid. It will make you roll your eyes at first but keep watching. The other reason I recommend watching Boku second is that it's the superior film of the two with the more conclusive ending. Now, to get into spoilers: Spoiler for Spoilers for both movies:
I forgot to talk about the animation. It wasn't anything special. Average for a movie, I'd say. I'm surprised they were done by different studios since I couldn't see a difference. Of course, each movie uses footage from the other at some point so they needed to look the same.
