I don't think Ginko will lose her title. My guess is she will keep her title for another year. Ai will probably be the one to challenge Ginko next year and by that time Ginko would have already been promoted to professional 4-dan. If this happens then Ai will be facing the strongest female player who has the same professional status as males and also a love rival. Ginko is probably being set up as the final boss for Ai in the series because there's no one better.

Ten-chan wins against Machi but the match is skipped. Ten-chan gets promoted to Female 2-dan and will challenge Ginko for the Joou title.

Machi has earned the Yamashiro Ouka title 5 times after defeating Ryou in the previous volume and so she has Queen title (the female equivalent of eternal title).

Ginko, she defended her title. It was 3-0 but Ten-chan did well during the 3rd match though.

Ten-chan also realized that Yaichi is her first love.

Ai gave a declaration of war in shogi to Ten-chan, but Ten-chan gave declaration of war in love to Ai. The two of them promised to become stronger.

From what I can tell, she's the previous title holder for both of the titles Ginko has now
Her nickname is Ibarahime (literally means Thorn Princess, but it's the Japanese name for Sleeping Beauty)
She was the first Joou and Joryuu Gyokuza and kept holding those titles until Ginko took them away. She was also on her way to take Rina's Joryuu Myouseki title.
