That looks very nice. As expected from Ikeda's art. Season II cover is really have great art.

Volume I - Moka
Volume II - Cocoa
Volume III - Mizore
Volume IV - Ruby
Volume V - Sun&Gin

I think after this is Kurumu's major arc, and of course she will be the cover in volume VI (with Tsukune maybe

You know if you just look at that cover without the title and icon in the corner you would think it is a Shojo manga instead of a Shounen. Kinda reminds me of Masakazu Katsura

Dunno about that, the only "couple" covers before this only had only Tsukune and Moka on them. So far, I don't even think there's any official art portraying Tsukune alone with one of the girls other than Moka.

since all the girls are vying for Tsukune, Ikeda probably doesn't want to make a cover making it look like he's paired with any of the girls.

Oops, what I meant to say was that there wasn't any cover or official art that depicted a "couple" except the ones with Tsukune and Moka. That's until now with the Sun x Gin cover.

I knew Kurumu x Gin won't be in the works since seeing that panel where she was in the showers shows all her(NOT HER NAKED BODY PERVS! lol) feelings towards Tsukune and is a very touching chapter indeed on her part.

It also helps that Gin doesn't have five-six other girls gunning for him, too.

Much easier to give him "couple" art with Sun.

Much like it's pretty easy to have illustrations and covers with Moka Inner/Outer and Tsukune.

Pretty much that establishes that. Unlike the other girls there are no solo illustrations with Tsukune.
