Remember, though, that FSN has more than one route, and the routes are largely incompatible with each other, at least in detail (you can't show the same servant dying more than once, for example). 3 cours is possible, but I don't think the original FSN anime suffered from being too short. It covered pretty much everything that happened in the original Fate route of the VN and a few other things too. It just didn't do it very well.

^^I doubt that, in the articles they are probably giving the background of all three routes. To let people who didn't play the game better understand them.
You can see bellow the text 'PS Vita' written, meaning that this is all again from game.

^ Nice pic. I do hope the pic represent the characters who are being highlighted in this new F/SN anime (if they really want it to be a continuation of Zero). Those four are the characters left from Zero that needs a thorough exploration in this “sequel” no matter what.

Horrible promotion art isn't exactly rare or anything, tons of good looking anime has them too (Zero had some truly hideous ones). So this doesn't say anything about how the anime will look, thankfully.

LOL I didn’t zoom the pic so I don’t really noticed the derpy-ness. Still, it looks nice taken in its entirety. I’ve seen many worse anime promotional pics. If you think this is bad, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet

Well, those are the four "main" characters from the original VN (as in, the three heroines and the main character), so hopefully they will get some focus. How exactly they'll go about it isn't clear, though, since the routes that involve them are very different from each other.

Like I said ( and I was right back then ) - they will write new story-line and put the most important events in it ( School fight then Saber killing Rider following church battle then following Eiserbern castle then following dark Sakura etc.... )

All in all, the story will not be the story from Visual Novel at all, they will put most important events and the will invent a ton of new things in between to connect all of them. It is possible to combine routes, the only question is how you will write the story between, or in - what new stuff will you write to compensate for difference between routes.

Like I said earlier - not everyone will be happy at how they do it, but this way they will please majority of fans ( not everyone like all routes so doing all 3 at once is good way to go to please everyone ) and do the most important thing - bring out the most profit.

I don't think we will until the anime is released on fall.
With this they literally told us everything we need to know, as for the rest we will have to see it ourselves.

Did you read thread? They told us the basics of the anime, who will do it and who will produce it. That is all we really need to know before they release it.

I guess he was planning to do all three routes but:
- something satisfying that would resolve all three at the same time
- He'll probably be a CG here [aka he'll finally die after saying the obvious so many times], 100% (true route)
- something close to Fate/Zero
- at least he won't be a 'stay in the kitchen, Saber' guy
