[PC Gamer] Halo: The Master Chief Collection is coming to Steam

And I thought Microsoft had forgotten about PC as a platform. Finally, PC players get to play the Master Chief collection, including Halo: Reach, and it's coming to Steam!

No release date as of yet, but given it's already listed on Steam it shouldn't take too long. Apparently though the games within the collection will release episodically, as per:

So there's no confirmation for Xbox Play Anywhere with MCC, which I really want. If there isn't, then I'm probably gonna get it for Steam.

Neither did I. However, with the price being 10 dollars USD per game and 5 bucks for Halo 3: ODST, the collection seems like it's at most 55 USD (72 CAD per today's exchange rates), which is a bloody good deal, so even if I can't get into the flighting betas, I'm not too worried.

kinda disappointed that it doesn't seem like you can buy the whole collection on PC (the whole MCC collection for PC seems only available on Xbox Games Pass for PC), but it makes sense considering that each halo game is coming out one at a time when they're ready.

Kinda misleading how Steam updated MCC, then when I went into the game only discovered that I needed to download Halo CE separately to actually play it. Although this is understandable considering that people do have the ability to buy and play Halo CE MCC separately if they wanted to, still an odd system to run across though.

It was a little weird, but it makes sense given how one has the choice of buying the games individually; in the end, buying the games means grabbing the launcher and then whatever content each game entails. I think it was a 6.5 GB download for me, and I remember in the old days when the entire game was a mere 1.2 GB!

I've played through the whole of the MCC, and with Halo 4 joining the MCC to finish the collection off, tomorrow is going to be epic
