I didn't notice than the right border was not shownig. About the border's color, it was not choosen for the aesthetic value but as a link to the novel. This color ( violet /sumire iro/スミレ色) and the flower than have the same name is often linked to Amano Tooko ( aka Bungaku Shoujo) the titre character.
