4th chapter-Rudy is three years old, and has recently learned the names of his family; Paul Greirad, Zenith Greirad, and that his own name is Redeusu Greirad(although his nickname is Rudy). He has taken to carrying the magic textbook everywhere, but he hides the fact that he can read it. He doesn't know how magic is received in this world. The fact that there is a textbook at all speaks well of it, but he worries it will be taken from him if they find out he is practicing with it. He doesn't want to inhibit his growth. His MP has increased, and he is ready to start learning intermediate water magic. He chants Water Gun, and fails to account for its power(he blows a hole in the wall). He ends up with an "oh shit" moment, and his parents run to him when they hear the noise. He thinks the game is up, and tries to apologize. Contrary to what he thinks, Zenith is very happy and thinks her son is a genius. Rudy thinks she is exaggerating like all parents do, because he is much older than he appears. Anyway, Zenith says to get a tutor right away to expand his talent, but Paul is against it because there was some kind of agreement between the two that he could train his son to be a swordsman. They argue a bit. Rudy gets a little fed up with it and suggests that he learn magic in the morning and swordsmanship in the afternoon. The duo put in a request for a live-in tutor with the local adventurer's guild, and get Roxy. Rudy was expecting an old granny and was surprised to find a cute girl was his tutor. Roxy thinks the parents are idiots and over-reacting to a little talent, but agrees to teach. Roxy demonstrates water ball and damages one of Zenith's trees. She is embarrassed but manages to fix the tree with intermediate healing magic. She tries to get Rudy to cast it as well, but he has been doing it with no-chant for so long he forgot the chant. He figures out too late to adjust his water bombs to a more normal size. He doesn't want her to sulk. In the end he makes them the size of basketballs and reveals he can forgo the chant. Roxy finally figures that its not all talk by two over-eager parents and decides to go at it seriously. Unfortunately, Rudy's water ball destroys the tree again and this time Zenith finds out. Roxy tries to pin the blame on the 3-year old Rudy, but Zenith wasn't having it. One day on the job and she's already screwed up, leading her to be depressed. Luckily Rudy manages to cheer her up, and they get back to business. It switches to the afternoon training with Paul. Since there is no practice sword for someone his size, Paul has him doing basic physical conditioning. He can't train for long at this point, so he mostly does it after he has exhausted his MP for the day. Anyway, we find out MP consumption increases dramatically when the scale is increased, but also when the scale is small. He decides to focus on finesse at this point, and there is some examples. He also finds that using magic from 2 different systems at the same time increases consumption by three times or more. He starts to get a little complacent, but rebukes himself with his resolution to do all that he can. It cuts to night-time with Rudy being really annoyed. Evidently his parents are doing the horizontal tango and he is forced to listen to it. He wants a sibling, and he is happy for them, but he doesn't want to listen to it. He decides to go play a prank on them by pretending to be an innocent kid. Unfortunately he finds a previous visitor, evidently Roxy heard them too. Awkwardness ensues and Rudy pretends he didn't see her. It skips four months, and Rudy has mastered all the intermediate attack magic. Roxy is a good teacher and he finds her classes interesting. He asks her why all this magic is focused on attacking, and she answers that in most cases tools are more convenient. Not everyone can skip the chant like he can. He has also learned the principles of healing magic, but Roxy doesn't know any summoning magic to teach him. There is a small history lesson about how her people came to be, which I don't feel like going through. Evidently weird hair colors are a characteristic of her race, and Roxy has been troubled her hair can seem green under the right shading. Green is a characteristic color of a tribe of Asmodians with a bad reputation. Rudy assures her that her hair is pretty, ect. Rudy uses his innocent child look to jokingly tell her he likes her. Roxy tells him to try again in 10 years. Rudy thinks to himself that he just hit a flag(lol). Anyway, the green-haired tribe are called Superudos(not sure on this), and they have a red gem on their forehead. Roxy tell him to watch out for them. This will be relevant later. It skips to a year having passed, and Rudy has mastered attack magic up to advanced in all types(with no-chant). He is interested in learning to make rain like Roxy can, but hasn't gotten to it yet. Evidently her making rain for the farmers has made her popular in the village nearby. He praises her and Roxy says she does it for the money. Rudy finds that wrong with his "Japanese morals", but admits his perspective is warped. He can afford to be idealistic because he has never had to support himself on his own. There is a bit about calling Roxy master/teacher. Its hard to make out but Roxy doesn't want to be called that. Rudy is clearly more powerful than her at this point, but he doesn't see this as a reason not to call her teacher. She admits that even she is a little jealous of his talent. Rudy thinks she is a little childish and that not everything can be learned from a book. She is the teacher to him.
5th chapter-Rudy has just turned 5 and is having a birthday party. Evidently birthdays aren't celebrated every year in this world, but every 5 years, with 15 being the age of adulthood. His father gets him a real full-sized sword and a wooden one his size. Zenith takes the real one away for the moment, but its the thought that counts. He gets a plant dictionary from his mother, detailing which are poisonous or safe to eat, ect. He gets a beginner's magic rod/staff from Roxy. Evidently it is standard to give to disciples when they start out, but Rudy never needed one. It acts as an amp for magic. He is sorta way beyond beginner at this point, but again its the thought that is appreciated. The next day he starts training with the sword in earnest. Evidently maces and axes are used by only a small minority, and spears are only used by Superudos(and hence anathema). Paul demonstrates cutting through rock, and Rudy think that it is impossible. He comes to guess that the swordsmen in this world are instinctively using some kind of body-strengthening magic, as well as increasing durability of their weapons. He finds that he can't replicate it since even Paul doesn't seem to know how he does it. There is a description of the three major schools of swordsmanship, but those are already covered earlier in the thread. He struggles with these lessons, and Paul worries that he finds it unpleasant. Rudy answers that its not a matter of disliking it, and that he wants to be good at both. Magic just comes easier to him. This is where they really start building their father-son relationship. It cuts to Rudy learning mixed-system magic. Evidently if you combine spells you can get different effects. It's much like science. He manages to make a small raincloud using it, and wonders at the possible effects. There's a bit about magic universities, with the largest being Ranoa University. Roxy graduated there despite discrimination against Asmodians. Rudy is skilled enough at this point to attend, but being 5 years old it would be a little ridiculous. There is a bit about Rudy's dream to be a magic swordsman, with Roxy telling him he is ready to graduate from her teaching.
6th chapter-The chapter starts with Rudy thinking about never having left the house. The furthest he has gone is the garden. He has some serious trauma from being hit by a car and a distrust of people in general. He thinks that his life could turn to hell in an instant, and that he could wake up from his current happy dream. He knows that it is reality, but the body won't follow through. Roxy says that she is going to hold his graduation examination out beyond the village. Rudy nearly freezes, but she thinks he is just afraid of the horse(which she finds age-appropriate). His pride can't take that and he is talked into getting on the horse. There is some further unintentional reverse psychology and they head off. He gets tense when they meet the villagers, but is encouraged the friendliness they show Roxy. He starts to wonder why he was worried in the first place, and asks questions about the village. He tries to hold a conversation, because Roxy is leaving the day after, but can't think of anything clever to say. So he mostly just listens to her descriptions. They pass through and head to a grassland area to do the test, which is replicating the St. class water magic "Cumulonimbus." It generates heavy rain and thunder, which is why they couldn't do it near anybody else. He needs to not only replicate it, but keep it going for an hour. It take Roxy over a minute just to chant the thing to demonstrate, and she almost accidentally hits Rudy with lightning(she does hit the horse,but manages to heal it). She screwed up again and starts to get depressed, but Rudy promises not to tell(see a pattern here?). He gets ready for his attempt while Roxy prepares an earth wall to protect her and the horse. He manages, but decides to add a twist based on something he saw on TV. He makes a tornado to contain the spell and keep it from going out of control, making it self-sustaining. Roxy sees what he did and pronounces him St. class without even waiting the hour. It skips to the next day with Roxy preparing to leave. Everybody comes to say goodbye to her, and she decides to continue her journey to improve her magic. Evidently being caught up to in skill by a 5-year old was a shock. She warns Rudy about hubris, and apologizes for being an inadequate teacher. He says there is no such thing, and she leaves him a necklace that proves him a friend to her tribe/race. He cries and goes outside. He thanks her silently for healing his trauma, which is what he will remember her for. There is also a humorous tidbit where he forgets to return some pants he stole from her, oops. Yes, Rudy is a bit of a pervert.

7th chapter-Rudy starts with reading the plant dictionary, but decides to go outside to meet the neighbors and play. He asks permission and gets it easily. Evidently Paul was worried because Rudy has never acted kid-like up to this point. Paul tells him he was flipping skirts at Rudy's age, and tells him to feel free to bring a friend home. He warns Rudy not to respond to force with magic, as its their responsibility as nobles to look after the people(not bully them). So Rudy heads out carrying the cane and dictionary, with the intention of doing some skirt flipping of his own(which somehow I doubt was the intention of the talk). A few days pass, and things are going well. The villagers are friendly to him, which he attributes to his parents and Roxy being well liked. He starts exploring the surroundings with the intention of learning the local geography and plant life(with the dictionary). That way he will be fine even if he gets lost. He thinks about how the forest can accumulate magical power which can spawn various monsters, but that there is regular sweeps to clear them out. He adds that he could probably defend himself if he encountered one with his magic, but that it would be better to run. He can't allow himself to get too big for his britches, as he doesn't have any real combat experience. He finds a hill capped with the biggest tree around, but then hears some local children bullying a child Asmodian. The three bullies are pelting another boy with mud balls, and making a game of it. He thinks about how he was bullied in the past. The child isn't fighting back, but Rudy makes his own mud ball with magic and hits the leader with it. The bullies predictably turn on him, seeing as he is helping the "evil" Asmodian. Rudy freezes a little and mocks himself for being scared of children, but past experiences don't go away that easily. Rudy defends himself with magic, but doesn't retaliate(remembering Paul's message). Seeing as they can't hit him the bullies get tired of it and leave, and Rudy congratulates himself for defeating bullies for the first time in his life. He finally turns to the other boy and is surprised to find him to be about the same age as himself, and a bit of a bishounen at that. He thinks that he can thank Paul and Zenith for his own above average looks at this point, especially considering he didn't look all that great in his previous life. He helps the boy clean off the mud, surprising the boy that anyone would be nice to him. We quickly find out why, as he has the same green hair that Rudy was warned of(it was hidden by the mud). Thankfully, he doesn't have the red jewel on his forehead, and is therefore not a Superudo. The green hair is just bad luck. Rudy asks him why he didn't resist, and he replies that he couldn't win. Rudy replies winning isn't as important as the resistance itself. Anyway, the boy is a bit of a mix. His father is half-elf, and his mother is human with a little human-beast(basically humans with cat/dog/ect. ears, you know the drill). His ears are a little longer than his father and he got the green hair out of the deal. Rudy holds him while he cries and pours all this out, with Rudy thinking how unfortunate this kid is. He also wonders how close to reality his idea of elves are. He decides since that the boy is sure to be handsome in the future, he will make friends with him now so he can get some of the girls he is sure to attract. That's not the real reason, but its the justification in his own mind. He just knows how it feels to be bullied. They exchange names, and the other boy kind of mutters his, with Rudy hearing the name Sylph. Rudy accompanies him for a bit and then he gets to meet Sylph's father. He thinks about how he looks pretty much how he thought he would(classical elf prettiness). Sylph's dad is a hunter and is named Rawl(again, not sure on the name). He is one of the people who helps Rudy's dad keep the forest clear of monsters. Rudy impresses Rawl with his maturity, with Rawl remarking that he loses confidence as a parent when he talks to him(as Paul must've done a great job). Rudy asks him if he can play with Sylph in the future, with Rawl giving the go-ahead as long as they stay out of the forest. The two head back to the tree where he found Sylph earlier, with Rudy having no idea how to play the games kids do in this world. Sylph asks him if he can learn the magic he did earlier, with Rudy being a little skeptical but agreeing to teach him. They "play" until sunset, with Rudy going home to an angry Paul. Rudy wonders why Paul would be angry, and briefly considers that he might have found the object of worship in Rudy's room(Roxy's panties). That wasn't the case though, as it seems one of the bullies(or their parents, hard to tell) came to complain. Rudy tries to tell him that he only threw a mud ball(magic was only used to defend himself), but Paul wasn't listening to "excuses". Rudy gets a little fed up with it and mouths off, getting punished. After getting beaten up Rudy apologizes a bit, but manages to get his story through. Rudy heals himself with magic and Paul is forced to apologize himself. Rudy doesn't blame him, but Paul remembers when his own father wouldn't listen to his "excuses" and is chagrined. He asks Paul how old he himself is, and finds out he is 24(having married at 19), and thinks about how in some respects Paul is younger than he is. Although Paul has much more life experience, Rudy is more mature(at least in his own mind). He asks if he can bring Sylph over some time, and gets the ok. It switches to Paul's perspective, where he is shocked Rudy was angry for the first time. Evidently the mother of one of the kids came to him earlier in the day with a bruise under her son's eye, blaming it on Rudy. Paul knew the kid already had a reputation for bullying, but he chose to believe their story. He thinks about how Rudy is already a St. class water mage, so he has to be stricter because he could really hurt someone if he tried. It would've been a one-sided beatdown, and he didn't believe Rudy would keep it in the realm of a child's fight. He regrets his actions in underestimating Rudy's maturity yet again. He thinks he is a failure as a parent, ect. The chapter ends with him at least being happy that his son has found a friend.
8th chapter-Rudy is 6 now, and his life hasn't changed much. He spends his time training swordsmanship in the morning, teaching Sylph, and trying expand his magic. He has recently started experimenting with using magic while fencing, such as hardening his posture with earth, or speeding his sword with wind, ect. While he continues to get stronger, his skill with fencing still hasn't gone past beginner and he is struggling with it. He wants to win against his father, but feels that if he waits til he is 16-21 Paul will be past his prime and it would have no meaning. So his goal is to win once within the next 5 years. He would prefer to win with swordsmanship alone, but he would settle for winning with his own kind of fighting. It skips to him hanging out with Sylph. Evidently he tried to make friends with other kids, but every time he did the mother of that one bully would come screeching to his house. It annoys him and Paul, so he has given up on that. He remarks that the tree where he first met Sylph has become a sort of territory for the two. He leaves the other kids alone and they do the same. He has focused on teaching Sylph, who has gone through much the same process he did with building up his MP. Evidently Sylph is really good in wind and water, but struggles with fire. Rudy explains that it is common to have a weak and strong system, but that he is good in all systems. Sylph has some burns on his hand from grabbing a fire poker, and while he is no longer afraid of fire, he has some leftover instinctual distaste for it, which weakens his ability. He claims that unlike an RPG, race doesn't affect it, but surrounding factors do. Since he grew up comfortably, he has no weak system. He remarks about not feeling jealous of Sylph's looks, and that his feeling is much like what he expects a father feels like. He has also taught him reading, writing, math, and sciences. Sylph manages to cast an intermediate water magic and asks about the hot water Rudy made before. Rudy explains that its a combination of a water and fire spell cast at the same time. He tries to demonstrate but the only way to parallel cast like that is with no chant. He has spent the last year teaching Sylph the chant system, so he worries that it might be too ingrained at this point to do it his way. His fears are groundless, because Sylph manages easily enough. Rudy compares it to training wheels on a bicycle, and praises Sylph's talent(after all Roxy never could, and Sylph is a real child). While they are practicing no-chant, it starts to rain. They both head to Rudy's house because Sylph's is too far. Rirya greets them at the door and tells them both to take a bath. Rudy strips and is surprised Sylph is looking at him embarrassed. He thinks its no big deal and they are only 6, so he tells him to raise his arms and starts dragging off his clothes. Sylph hits him and starts crying, prompting Rudy to tease him by yanking off his pants. Its at this point the obvious comes into play, Sylph is a girl. Rudy has the equivalent of a mental record skip and freaks out. Paul walks in and doesn't know what to think at this point. It switches to Paul's perspective where Rudy is explaining the situation. Rudy is apologizing since he honestly didn't know. Paul thinks in his head that womanizing is in his lineage, which Rudy has somehow inherited(lol). Also, Sylph's real name is Sylphyette(Sylphy for short). Evidently Rudy is the only one who didn't know she was a girl, which Paul thought he already did considering they have spent the last year together. Paul advises Rudy him to sincerely apologize to her, while privately thinking that Rudy can use this failure to capture her. He thinks that is ominous, but for the first time he thinks is son might be an idiot. It switches back to Rudy's perspective, where he has finally managed to get forgiveness after many apologies, coaxes, and praises. He wonders how he could have mistaken her for a boy, but thinks that it can't be helped since her hair was short when they first met and she wore boy's clothes. Explanations are given for both. She was bullied for her hair so it was obvious to keep it short, and the boy's clothes were so she could run if it came to it. Plus Sylphy's family isn't wealthy, so skirts were hard to come by. Rudy's attitude changes and he starts to find Sylphy cute, advising her to grow out her hair. Sylphy is still wary of him from the bath incident, but they get back to lessons. There is a quick description of Rudy's current skills, which I have already covered in my summary. He is also an intermediate healer in the therapeutic system(cuts, broken bones, ect.) and beginner in the detoxification system(the healing of poisons and diseases). He still doesn't know any summoning magic. It switches to the training with Paul, where Rudy is depressed because Sylphy is still a little mad at him. Rudy asks for advice, but Paul advises him not to get too subservient. He says women like a strong man, but that they also want to see a weak side. He tells Rudy to show a little weakness and that Sylphy will take him back(WTH are you teaching your kid?). Rudy thinks that its like maternal instinct, and thinks he might be a little scary to her. Paul tells him how to pull off the act, and Rudy thinks of Paul as a first class tactician. Paul finally catches on to what he is teaching his 6-year old, but by then its too late. It switches to Rudy practicing the sword under the tree, while thinking of how he can act weak in front of Sylphy. Sylphy shows up and Rudy exaggerates his tiredness. As expected, Sylphy takes the bait hook, line, and sinker. Rudy is happy to be back in her good graces. He starts thinking that Sylphy would be a good wife in the future, and then gets mad at himself seeing as Sylphy is still a child. They are back to normal, with a note about Rudy becoming an insensitive hero.
Alright, end of first web novel. I really doubt I will do any more, as this took way too long. It should be enough to get more people interested and a discussion going though. Who knows, maybe we will get a real translator in the future.

9th chapter-The chapter starts with the news that Zenith is pregnant. Rudy is happy to get a sibling, since Zenith obviously wanted more kids. She got morning sickness a month before and a doctor confirmed it. Family is happy and does all sorts of baby planning. A month passes and a major problem pops up, Ryria is discovered to be pregnant too. There is only one possible offender(Paul, you bastard!), and Rudy guesses it. Rudy is all understanding, and muses about there being no birth control in this world. He wonders how he can cover for his dumbass dad. Unfortunately, Zenith is no idiot and Paul folds under her stare. Rudy thinks that he is pathetic, but at least he can compliment his honesty. Family meeting time. Zenith is kind of a calm-angry, and Ryria says she will leave after helping Zenith give birth(It's part of what she was originally hired for). It's pointed out that its mostly Paul's fault, and she can't travel while pregnant either. She can't hire a stagecoach, so it would be walking and she is only a month behind Zenith. Rudy also has a fear where they are attacked and the mother and child are sold into slavery. Its unlikely, but possible, and she wouldn't be able to defend herself. It would clearly make them the bad guys at this point to kick her out. Paul tries to speak at this point, with Zenith immediately telling him to shut up. Paul once again folds like a deck of cards, with Rudy thinking he is useless. Zenith herself doesn't seem to know what to do, as she doesn't hate Ryria. They have spent the last 6 years doing housework together, and she is her friend as well as employee. This clashes with more than a bit of jealousy and sense of betrayal. Rudy thinks at this point that it is too much for Rirya to bear the blame alone, and decides to help. Also, evidently she knew about Roxy's panties in his room and kept silent. That deserves some kind of payback, right? She was cleaning in his room one day and found them. Rudy thinks his hiding skills had gotten rusty from being holed up for 20 years. She questioned him about it and he spilled after some interrogation, but never told his parents. He uses his innocent child act to ask why he can't have two siblings. He focuses her anger at the one with the most responsibility for this mess(his dad). He makes up a story to put Paul in the hole with her, and apologizes internally for stabbing him in the back after the advice he gave him with the Sylphy incident. Paul is stuck gaping like a fish with no way out, but Rirya is allowed to stay. Zenith is giving Paul the evil-eye(like a pig being led to slaughter) and heads back to the bedroom alone. Rirya cries a bit, and Paul is still struck dumb. Rudy thinks that his playboy father deserves some punishment. Rudy does throw him a bone by asking his mother not to hate Paul, but she was going to forgive him anyway....eventually. Zenith praises him for acting like an adult, but tells him he better take care of Sylphy. Rudy feels stung and a small amount of fear at that future. He gets back to sword practice and it switches to Rirya's perspective. She thinks its all her fault and has a self-hate rant, which I'll skip. She thinks back to how Rudy manipulated the conversation to reach a compromise. She no longer finds his behavior creepy, and is sorry for avoiding him. She thanks him internally, and plans to have a daughter she can raise to serve Rudy as recompense. It switches back to Rudy with a few months having passed. Sylphy has been trained to the point where she can use all the intermediate magic with no chant, but Rudy's swordsmanship isn't progressing very well. He hasn't taken a single point off Paul, even when using magic. He notes that Rirya has softened towards him, and finds her earlier attitude understandable when thinking about it. She tells him about Paul's past in the dojo where he learned, where he had to run away after some drama. He teases Paul for having an affair. He thinks about how despite Zenith being mad, Paul basically has a harem and a son to teach the sword to. He wonders if he should copy him in this. He thinks back to Zenith's glare, and decides that no, he doesn't want to deal with that. One wife is enough. Paul teases him back by telling him that Sylphy is sure to be a future beauty, and Rudy has no choice but to agree. Rudy thinks about how Paul has grown as a parent, and that he no longer tries to force himself to be strict. At this point Paul starts grinning, and Rudy turns around to find Sylphy was there for a while. Evidently she heard him earlier. Paul teases him by asking him to repeat himself, and Rudy is too embarrassed to respond. He thinks Sylphy is cute at this point, but that he has avoided any romantic feelings. He thinks that kind of talk is at least a decade early. He gets even with Paul by pointing him out to his mother. It skips to Zenith's birth, where she is having a hard time. Rudy assists with healing magic, and they both survive. Immediately after, Ryria experiences a premature birth. The other midwives help, and Rudy thinks about the wisdom of age. They are both girls; Zenith's daughter being named Norns, and Rirya's being named Aisha. The parents are happy and grinning like idiots, but Rudy is slightly depressed since the women of power in his home has increased. Oh well, at least he is above the cheating father in the pecking order, right? He is the big brother to be respected.
10th chapter-Rudy is now 7, and he is disturbed by the amount of shit, pee, ect. that babies leave. Especially the crying which keeps him up all the time. It's all typical baby behavior, and Rirya is thrilled. After all, looking after Rudy was too easy and she missed out on the parenting. Rudy has been trying to help out and not let it get to him though, as he has his pride as an older brother. Paul is evidently useless on this point and has a "pathetic face." Rudy sarcastically thinks that the only truly great thing about him is that he is strong. He is advanced in all styles of fencing, and obviously has real combat experience. Rudy has been learning the sword for 2 years at this point, and has not left the beginner category. He isn't sure if its because he is a kid(and therefore lacks physical strength) or a problem of talent. He says there is still no hope of winning against Paul in close quarters. To supplement his training, Paul has taken Rudy with him to watch when they hunted monsters. He thinks that there is a strange charisma felt when he watches Paul fight, and he is a little envious. He thinks he might have gotten too big for his britches if Paul wasn't around to reign in his ego. He thinks about how swordsmen in this world are ridiculous, since they can run like 50kph and have outstanding reflexes and dynamic vision. He admits that it might be necessary in a world with demons and monsters though. He sarcastically remarks that Paul is a useless father, but practically an Olympic gold medalist with the sword. It cuts back to practicing, but Rudy is distracted while thinking of attending a real school. Paul wonders why he would need it(since he can read, write, and do math), with Rudy answering to meet people his own age. He also wants to learn history and etiquette so that he isn't looked down upon by higher nobles. This is mostly bullshit since he is thinking of going with Sylphy. After all, he is Sylphy's only friend and he wants her to meet other kids. Paul thinks Rudy could become an adventurer and meet people that way. There is some information about the adventurer profession, but its pretty much what you would expect. There is standard quests for a guild, and exploring the labyrinth for magical items as a get rich quick scheme. He read about it in one of the books in the study a while ago. Paul tells him that the story isn't fiction. He starts to have some interest, but remembers that one of the characters dies in the book. It skips to Rudy teaching Sylphy math and science, but he is rapidly approaching the limits of what he remembers well enough to teach, which is junior high level. Sylphy is quite smart, and the science helps with development of magic. Rudy thinks to himself that she might be smarter than he is, and she is obedient so her absorption of knowledge is fast. Rudy himself feels like he is at an impasse, since he feels there isn't much difference in skill with his own magic since Roxy left. He thinks about the magic school Roxy told him about, and wants to go. Sylphy is anxious when he says that, and he notices that she has started growing her hair out(flag anyone?). Sylphy thinks he is great as is, and he thinks that may be so for his current age, but not in the future. He looks at Sylphy's growth and gets impatient since his own progress has stalled. Sylphy hugs him while crying and doesn't want to let go. He gets some inspiration at this point and thinks they could go together. He also has a bit where he thinks he likes Sylphy. He then slows down and thinks that while he certainly feels favor for her, and is not blind to her affection, it is not to the level of love. He thinks the affection meter is already at max, and decides to wait a few years and see what happens. Soon after he gets a letter from Roxy describing her new job as a tutor for a prince in a foreign country. The kid is talented, but not to the level of Rudy. The prince is also more than a little arrogant. She mentions that she has mastered the king-class water magic, and that a court magician has access to research materials. She now aims to become god-class in water magic, and advises Rudy to become St. class in the types other than water, as well as learning healing and summoning. She offers to give him a letter of recommendation with the university if he ever wants it. He again feels disappointed in himself for not making any progress of his own. He resolves to go to the university, but isn't sure how to bring Sylphy along. He asks his parents if he can make a selfish request, to which they reply positively. He asks if he can go to university and bring Sylphy with him. Paul says no as his teacher and father; He is at a critical stage in his sword training, they don't have enough money to cover both their tuition, and the fact that they are both 7. He has his responsibilities as a parent. Rudy isn't gonna let that go so he asks his father when he left his own house, finding out he ran away at 12. Rudy comes to a compromise where he will work as a tutor until he is 12 in order to cover Sylphy's tuition, and Paul agrees. It switches to Paul's perspective where he is shocked. He thinks Rudy's growth is fast, he expected a similar talk at 14 or 15, not 7. He worries that if Rudy goes through life at such a rush he will die young, but then mocks himself for having done the same. He has consulted Rawl and decides to write a letter to a friend. He likes Sylphy, but thinks her adoration for Rudy is a little too close to brainwashing, even though it's unintentional. He worries she will come to rely on Rudy to the point where she can't do anything on her own. He thinks about how Rudy would protect her, but that if in the future he didn't love her back she would be crushed beyond repair. If he gets an affirmative reply to his letter, he plans to separate them by persuasion or force.
11th chapter-One month has passed and Rudy is expecting the reply to the letter any day now. He is practicing the sword when all of a sudden he is attacked by Paul. He reflexively responds by using his magic. He has simulated this fight in his head hundreds of times, and manages to avoid the first blow. He makes a quagmire under Paul's feet to disrupt his footing, but only barely catches him with it. He only manages an awkward blow and is hit with a counter. As he faints he is grateful that it is only a wooden sword. He wakes up later in some kind of carriage tied up with a rope. There is a hot female warrior with an eyepatch in the carriage with him. She is some kind of human-beast with tiger features. You can find the illustration somewhere if your really interested, but you get the picture. He makes an introduction, and she remarks that he is polite considering he is the son of Paul. Her name is Ghyslaine. He burns off the rope using fire magic, and takes a seat. He wonders if he has been kidnapped by this muscle woman, but then thinks that he doesn't hate muscular women. He tries to calm down by reciting prime numbers in his head, but fails and decides to just take stock of the situation, with a slight recap. He remembers that his father left him with the words "Sylphy is too good for you" and thinks his father a pedophile bastard. There is some further conversation, in which he finds Ghyslaine has no sense of humor, but finds that his father left him a letter. Its mostly joking, with him telling Rudy to listen to the muscle head because she knows her stuff. She is a king-class swordsman in the offense-oriented style of fencing. Rudy is going to tutor Ghyslaine in basic subjects and magic in return for lessons in swordsmanship, and another young girl in return for the money to attend university. The tutoring will last 5 years, and in the meantime he is forbidden to return home. It then gets serious and explains that this is so Sylphy can be self-supporting, and that Paul has also noticed that Rudy himself has started to rely on Sylphy too much. He is depressed, but thinks that if that situation had continued Sylphy would have ended up like a childhood friend character in an eroge. He doesn't want her entire world to orbit around him. He reluctantly agrees with his father's judgement, since he can't spoil her this way. There is a bit about his pay for the job, and it switches back to Paul after he thinks about looking forward to the future. Paul thinks that he just wanted to show off the dignity of a father, but that he was surprised by Rudy's reaction to his attack. It showed amazing sense for battle, and he has never seen an attack like that. He read Paul's attack perfectly, and its only because of Rudy's body size that he lost. He thinks about his son's genius, but feels only happiness instead of jealousy. Anyway, after Rudy was rendered unconscious Sylphy showed up and tries to rescue him. He defends himself and hands her back to Rawl. He also proves himself wise to Rudy's "cool older brother plan," but thinks he can monopolize his daughters now. He then thinks about how strong Rudy will be in 5 years and thinks his father's dignity is in danger. He tells Zenith and Ryria that he plans to train, but they both tell him he started too late. Evidently he already lost his father's dignity. Then it gets a little serious and he thinks about how he was an inadequate parent but he hopes for the best with Rudy. Rudy should come back with a greater power and defeat the "tyranny" of his father.

- Rudeus Greirad (The boy at the center holding a book) - The Protagonist of this story. He is quite smart and thought to be a genius by the others. Showed talent for magic. His pet name, Rudy, are used by people close to him.
- Paulo Greirad (The man behind Rudeus) - Father of Rudeus and Husband of Zenis. A talented swordsman. Paulo and Zenis met during the time of their traveling party. He is shown to be an easy-going of a man. He sometimes has trouble dealing with Rudeus, as he felt Rudeus is too mature than child around his age. Quite a womanizer and also popular among women, later, this will lead to a problem between him, Zenis, and Lylia.
- Zenis Greirad (The woman behind Rudeus and Sylph) - Mother of Rudeus and Wife of Paulo. A beautiful and kind woman, she is talented in healing magic, and is excited when he found Rudy has talent for magic. When she is pregnant with the second child, she is angry when she found out Lylia is pregnant as well. Rudeus convinced Zenis to forgive Lylia and not to split with Paulo.
- Lylia (The woman on the right, standing beside Paulo) - Formerly a maid guard at the palace, she is discharged due to poison that greatly diminished her swordsman skill. She then work as maid at Paulo place. Paulo was a disciple of Lylia father. At first she is wary of Rudeus, and thought that Rudeus must be a devil child, but she later respect Rudeus after he convince Zenis to let Lylia stays with them after Paulo affair with her. Later Her name became Lylia Greirad
- Roxy Migurd (The girl with blue hair standing beside Rudeus) - She is of Demon race, coming from Migurd tribe famous with blue hair and young appearance. She is a magician excelled at water magic, reaching the Saint rank. When Rudeus showed his magic talent at 3rd years old, Zenis called for a tutor and she applied. She respect Rudeus for his talent, and refused to be called "Master", preferred to be called as just "Teacher". By the way, her age already goes past 40.
- Sylph (The boy with green hair beside Rudeus) - Half High-Elf and Half Human and a Quarter Human Beast, Rudeus found and rescued Sylph from bully (due to Sylph Emerald hair, as Emerald green hair is thought to be a representation of evil). From that time, Sylph and Rudeus grow to be a close friend, and plays together a lot. Sylph learn magic from Rudeus and become attached (and grows feeling) to him.

After Tate Yuusha no Nariagari; Knights & Magic; Next is this. Truth to be told, when I was travelling on the world of Narou, I actually almost fed up with Templates like Tensei and Isekai, but grow to get used to it and didn't stop me from enjoying this one title. Currently, I already finished reading chapter 9. hmm, I guess this can be considered as a Harem?
A little bit Off-topic: I thought of making a thread for Narou and introduces several other titles that worth to be noticed (even though lots of them are not or may not even be get their chance to be published as LN), what do you guys think?

I guess when he returns. He would probably be stronger than Paul. And that make it look like Paul to a dead beat. And I guess that would be the reason why Norn thinks that he is bullying her father.
Thanks for everything, Bludvein! But could you just tell us about this whole demon lord incident where one came knocking when he was at school having heard rumors about him and Rudy ended up curbstomping him?

Some kind of Asmodian named Satan/Beelzebub(it goes back in forth in the gtrans, so i'm not sure) shows up at the university, apparently having killed a mess of students. Evidently he heard from the Great Makai(a super old and important loli) that she gave him the foreseeing eye. Rudy is all humble(he is still in his no-confidence phase), but he doesn't plan to back down. Rudy makes a rock cannon, but bulks it up and adds spin to the shells. He hits him with and blows the guy's upper body completely away. He gets kinda upset at this point because he expected more resistance, and he didn't want to kill him. Turns out he is immortal and can regenerate, but admits defeat. All the "corpses" were only knocked out and they become friends of a sort. Unfortunately, from that point on the entire school fears him.

That's actually not the reason. Its because they had a fight when they finally reunited after the transition. Paul had turned to drink and despair from not finding the rest of his family(Norn was right next to him, so they were teleported together), and he was mad at Rudy for seeming so happy about his adventures. They fight and Rudy kicks his ass, but Norn shows up at the end to protect her dad from the bully. It takes Rudy a long time to win back her trust, but it kicks Paul out of his depression and they both get to searching(after reconciling).
