Not really a spoiler, but as a response to one of the earlier posts, it's not really a harem. Is there a lot of fanservice? Yeah, but it's not a harem unless you consider 2 or 3 girls as a harem (with the second one coming later in the series and the third one coming even later). It's certainly not the focus of the series. Make no mistake, this series is foremost an action and adventure series.

This IS a harem show and a lot of fan-service
but at the same time, it has serious plot and decent actions the central plot is there are so many adventure stories that protagonist went to a fantasy world and saved them from hopeless future but then what? what could happen AFTER that? They are considered as a hero in the "other" world but they are not in "this" world How they cope with this? What should these people do? some may suffer from PTSD by some tragic events in the other world Will they become psychologically unstable? Also, how about the other world? Are they live happy ever after? Are they really saved? they are saved by people in the another world but do they really solve their problems? So,this is not only a harem show the problem is what the production team focused in, fan-service or story telling And I am so sure that it is not the latter one |

the novel had just as much fan-service. Like DxD, it really stretches the limits; however, the story is first and foremost action/adventure based. The central theme of the story is about the MC's past in the "other world" (the burden he carries and his development from weak->strong) and his current battle against the upper echelons of his original world (the top 2 organizations).
Now, if the production group decides to ditch the original story, then yeah, it could be something else. If it's faithful to the original novel, there should be a fair share of exciting battles. Last edited by whsie; 2012-07-01 at 04:11. |

Saw the QBR trailer with this guy, he left a bad impression and a bad taste in my mouth made me hate him for owning my QBR girls.
I'll probably watch this for the ecchi and the girls in the series, but anything epic this guy does goes down the drain in my case. Fails as an ecchi show if they censor this too much.
