OK, that's "Kokoro No Chizu", and it's been the opening all the way since episode 207 to the very latest episodes, it hasn't changed.

Well, this is what was said by CP9 in the manga, according to the scientists who study the Devil Fruits. You eat more than one, you will die. But, there leaves a certain suspicion of whether they're lying about it, or if it's only the case for certain circumstances, who knows.

Well, what I mean is, most likely the scientists are funded by the World Government, and maybe they just started the rumor to avoid people from obtaining more than one fruit or something like that. Just one alternative. But I get the impression that there really is something dangerous about consuming more than one, I believe it; but maybe it's not a definate thing for all people. Who knows, we really can only theorize until they give more information.

Hmm maybe you do die if you eat 2...cuz if someone thought about it and did eat 2 to test it, they would have the power of both making them unstoppable if used right >.> So their bounty would sky rocket, and to my knowledge no one with a sky rocketted bounty has 2 fruit abilities..then again there are mysterious chars like Shanks.

it's stated by one of the CP9 members that you will die if you eat more then one fruit...

The idea is that it's called DEVIL fruit for a reason... eating the fruit is basically a sin, your punishment for eating just one fruit is most certain death should ever go in the water... By eating a second fruit you double the sin, thus you double the punishment you recieve, and so the punishment becomes instant death instead of death only when your in the water
