Just wondering... How exactly do we categorize IS as glorified sports machines when some of them are also used for military applications?

They're not used in military operations. If you see IS fighting in a warfield, then it'd be a blatant disregard for the treaty. If it's made by the army, it's fine as long as they don't use it for fighting another country.

I dunno man. If there's one thing about villian corps that just have me dumbfounded is when they know, in all logic, that they're not on the right side and they still go on and even declare themselves as evil, without any attempt to justify their actions.

Just... Evil groups like that are rare. To me, at least.

Technically, I am almost finished, but the difficulty is with my overbearing parents, even though I am over 20 years old DAMNIT, and done my studies, they keep stating fanfictions (reading or writing) is a waste of time. (Not that I would listen to their lectures much) but they have no sense of privacy so I can't do editing if they are closeby since the computers are in close proximity to each other.

Right now, I am in school and could finish with the last touches.

I can understand that feeling, though not as bad, my entire family ridiculing my 'childish' hobby of watching anime, reading manga and writing a fanfic out of them.

Luckly, I don't have to deal with that

My mom even says, "If you write so many stories, why don't you get them published?"

Though, they're fanfictions..so yeah, can't do that.
As for my original ones...I kinda doubt they'd be appreciated here (Portugal), because a decent amount of "anime knowledge" would be required from the reader

So yeah...maybe one day I'll go to Japan and try to get my stuff published there...hahaha.......
