About the Itsuko upskirt one... those skirts actually can't do that, the way they're pleated.

Your are probably right, at least if we takl about a real skirt Anime's skirts seem (to me ) to liberate themself from their bond witd realism. ( I always feel than the lenght of the skirts is always too short, am I the only one thinking that?)

Yeah, real uniform skirts are usually longer. Usually.

But what I was referring to are the specific skirts used in Haruhi. Due to the way they're designed, they are actually incapable of flying up like that, probably to avoid the whole Marylin Monroe thing.

The diameter of the bottom of the skirt is not wild enough for allowing such flying up.

But then again, the closest skirt flying pic I have came across is the cover of the ninth light novel.

Ok. First things first: The head is too big for her body. The top of the head is out of proportion to the bottom of the head. Facial features are slightly wrongly placed, but it spoils the 'symmetry'. More minor point: the hair is not quite Itsuko's hair, and feels too 'clumpy' and wrong.

Neck is too long, and possibly too thin. Shoulders should be higher up.

Arms are too skinny proportionally. They're also too long - the elbows are too far along the arm.

Chest is ok, but waist is too small.

wow, thanks for the tips, this problem rarely occurs in my drawing. maybe because i done it at night so i forgot to check the proportions of the body

You have to step back and take a look at the whole drawing, and see: is this how the character looks? Is this how the pose goes? Your individual elements are fine, the shirt in particular, but the 'whole' that it creates is off.
