The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

So I felt like starting a thread for this on here because a lot of LZTP discussion has been taking place in the Wii thread.

Plus, the new link has a much more anime like look to him. (Though, I'm still not used to the brown hair... hasn't he always been a blond before?)

Who else thinks that TP is the most anime-like Zelda ever made? The super high res worlds are currently blowing my mind. And the detail on Link, from his movements in the actions to his facial expressions in the cut scenes. This has gone well beyond my already high expectations.

Just a brief rules here:

USE SPOILER TAGS PLEASE

Not everyone will be at the same point in the game, so warn people about what's under your spoiler tag, like:

"I'll hide this cuz it's about Death Mountain"
Spoiler:
OR something like that. You get the point.

I think WW is still the most anime-looking Zelda out there

Links hair in the original series of the game has always been drawn with a light brown hair or dark blonde depending which term you like to use. then in the snes version he had an almost blonde look to his hair, but wasn't quite golden blonde. He also had blonde hair in the n64 and gamecube he had blonde hair.

I actually liked the N64 animations more. It sort of looks like he's just trodding around in TP.

Didn't he have purple hair in that game?

Also, the Zelda games that predate ALttP (I think) have a brown-haired link in the artwork. Oh yeah, little pudgy link looks like (at least, that was my reaction first time playing it) has a slight tan

Still think that the Windwaker had the most anime'ish graphics, thanks to cel-shading, even though the rest of the game was rather boring. The style was similar to Zelda 3 and I wouldn't had minded if they had kept it.

wind waker did have the most animeish, but TP does have the best detail to it. the facial expressions duing cutscenes are the best i've seen yet, and i've seen all the zeldas previous.(none of the nes versions though)

Does anyone know what Famitsu magazine gave to TP?
They did give TOOT their rare 10/10, of course.

They gave it a 38/40, for both the Wii and GC versions They gave WW a 40/40, aswell. Then again, if anyone truely takes Famitsu's reviews to heart, needs help.

If I recall, one of the reviewers said it was too hard, lol.

People, lets face it, thats PINK, we all played with a pink-haired elfish guy

So, waiting for the GC version here, which will sadly take a while, Nintendo are such bastards, but if they think the delay would make me go for the wii version they were very mistaken.

Just finished this game yesterday...

I got it Monday evening, and had it beaten by Friday afternoon.
Good game. It's been forever since I got really into one.

Anyone else played through it? The ending was rather bittersweet.

The ending was something I would expect from a Zelda game. I don't care much about the story anymore in Zelda games since they're somewhat predictable. I just play the games because they are just fun and filled with cool dungeons, weapons, and boss fights.
