One question, Was it mentioned what are the choices we get to make to decide the backstory of DA2 if we didn't get Origins? They did a similar thing for ME2 I know, but certain big points wasn't up to us to decide for example who gets to be in charge of the Citadel, or whether a certain teammate from the previous game lives or dies... I'm wondering how much control we'll have this time.

You get three, u sacrifice yourself to slay the arch demon, you sacrifice alistair to kill the archdemon, and you and morrigan do the nast to kill the arch demon, I think. I just want my love triangle between Morrigan and Leilana to be preserved, cuz it took me 2 playthroughs to properly trigger the jealousy events and not burning my grimiore. I do hope the "relationship" mechanic is more developed but I doubt it. Pretty much you can pick from 3 choosing starts so it's kind of meh, you won't have too much control unless you played the game.

-Conducted Dark Ritual and defeated the Archdemon. Left Alistair as king. (doesn't specify Origin; I'm inclined to think Human Noble or Mage) The Martyr: -Dalish elf who gave her to life to defeat the Archdemon. Crowned both Alistair and Anora. No Compromise: -Dwarf Noble who exiled Alistair and left Anora on the throne. Sent Loghain to his death against the Archdemon. |

It's unofficially official: the last companion for DA2 is Anders. The mage from DA:A.
Edit: They do have a way to get around the fact that Anders CAN die in Awakening and still have him show up in DA2. And it's not like your Warden popping up from the dead like a zombie or Oghren fell into a pile of bushes and got better magically. Edit 2: A link to go with what I said: http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/a...al-anders.aspx Last edited by Who; 2011-02-07 at 17:58. |

The Icon on the choices you make seems to make the diplomacy thing a little more easier.. The combat in the game seems easy from the demo... But then again it is in the demo, but it seems the Normal difficulty and the new combat system makes it easier. But of course we have not seen any higher difficulty so I can't judge there

Thx for the video , i also read a preview.
Warrior's abilities : - Weapon & Shield - Two handed - Vanguard - Defender - Warmonger - Battle Master - Templar - Reaver - ? Two-Handed for sure. So less skills but upgrades for one skill added. Yeah , i found it good. More action & Beat'em all without pause. Instant skills cast for some abilities. No very wide tactical view like Origins (wait for patch or mod) We can chose dialogue for the companions ? |

I think it's more like asking your companions for advice if you are ever stuck on a decision between killing/negotiating with someone. Or when you are in a tight situation and might like some other opinion besides your own, the companions that are currently with you might give some advice. So that kinda changes some things up with party organization. Well probably not but might persuade more people to go with different character aspects then just their classes if they ever need help deciding on things. Which probably will not affect people's decisions on who they will pick possibly
