when i first saw the trailer when i saw Megamind, i was like "Wow Really?" but remembering how good the first one was, Im actually pretty hyped for a sequal.

The foregone question is "what else is there to tell? they've done the Big Thing in their life."

However, Toy Story 2 and 3 managed to be entertaining for many people...

The thing to really fear is if they decide to make a cartoon series of it o.O

This is a shock for me. I have high hopes considering how good the first film was, but what is there to build a "good" story around.

I wasn't really a big fan of the first movie, so I don't think I'll be peeping this.

I doubt it will be great, considering the first one wasn't that epic or whatsoever
Well, let's just see how high the bar has raised, since I can't make any solid prejudice about something new

As much as I liked the first movie, I can't say I'm too keen on this. Then again, I wasn't really keen on the first one either (albeit more keen than I was with Prince of Persia) so I was thoroughly impressed with it. Perhaps the second might have a good surprise for us. I agree with Vexx that the biggest thing to be afraid of is if they start a cartoon series for this

Recoil in horror, as there's apparently already been the decision to greenlight a TV series on Nick for it.

As much as I adore the first movie, I'm a little more reserved on the sequel. Then again, before I saw it I didn't think too much of the original, so I might be surprised.

oye... I used to call it the "Winnie The Pooh" effect. Greenlight a series. Take a great set of stories&characters and then *sterilize* them. Put Eeyore on medication, Rabbit as well. Absolutely grind out anything that made the original characters special or memorable. Add a Wheel of Morality.... presto, reach for the barf bucket.

That banal little bonus feature about the "Furious Five" kind of signaled possible evil ahead

HEY, THE WHEEL OF MORALITY WAS AWESOME!!!

Anyways, I am a bit leery. Kung Fu Panda was my favorite Dreamworks film. But yea, the freshness is gone.

yes, the Wheel of Morality *was* awesome precisely because it skewered the utter lameness of the concept.

"Hey kids, playing with giant bugs isn't cool. If someone wants you to play with a giant bug, just say, "No Thanks"
