Kinda like the situation where Yumi's got a picture with Sachiko-chan in the 1st ep.

Hehe.. XD

@ Stephanie
It's scary to think what she might do to that photo... given Kanako's attitude. She'll drool over it for sure. :P

I don't know if this was discussed or not since I'm new to this series, but Kanako is so much like Sachiko. Even though Kanako got caught stalking Yumi, it feels like Sachiko is also stalking Yumi. She knows like everything... even going to the greenhouse and walking in at the right time in OVA3.
I can't imagine Sachiko stalking Yumi O_o;
I think she sensed what might happen to her little soeur, and she followed her at these occasions out of worry only, nothing about it becoming a habit ^^;
Or maybe she at first got a glimpse of them heading over there, and she had a feeling and followed, or maybe someone told her, etc.... is it specified in the novel ?

I saw the novel reviews in ziggr, and no, it's not specified on how she followed her..

Though, she did say Sei called her house to inform about what happened between their walk with Suguru and Yumi's ghost.. n_n

Ah yes, I think this must have seriously worried her, well it would have worried me, and being the older sister, she must have thought she ought to look out for her soeur, that it was her responsibility, and i think she did right ^^;

She mentioned in the greenhouse, "Sei always knows when you're going through something."

There's kinda a hint of loneliness, in my opinion, like "How come Sei knows more than me." kind of way, or it's just me

Yes, I too think that Sachiko has always envied a little how Sei was good at handling Yumi-chan, how she could make her feel at ease (in my POV that's one of the biggest complexes Sachiko has, she feels that she mostly bring pains to Yumi more than enjoyable moments), I reckon that's why Sachiko asked Sei to take care of Yumi when she had fainted before the Rosas' graduation.... I think she regrets a little not being like Sei sometimes.

Yeah, I think you're right.. I remember in the 1st OVA..
Sachiko even asked Yumi if she wants Sei to tag along in Sachiko's summer house..

Sachiko always sees Yumi so active and happy when Sei is around, so couldn't be helped.. Before their date in the 1st season, she got jelous why Yumi was happy with Sei and Shimako and she was ditching her and stuff.. Haha, kinda adds it all up.

What exactly was the folk dance and medley that everyone did called? I remember seeing/hearing it before on several occasions.... The music definitely didn't seem to be the Oklahoma medley from the novel...

Turkey in the Straw is best know to the younger generation as the theme song to the Murphy's Oil ads (now the dirt is finished and the finish is fine!). For those with longer memories, it's the song Donald Duck irritates the band with in the first ever color Mickey Mouse cartoon, The Band Concert.
