Best new show of the summer, hands down. Animation quality is INSANELY good, and the designs are so close to the original you'd hardly notice the difference.

And the best part is that all the girls look ten billion times hotter in color (Uzume = ). Can't wait for the inevitable DVD specials

Awesome 1st ep!
I'm really impressed with the quality of artwork and effort put into it, usually with ecchi anime they tend to skip on that.

Interesting episode, I can't seem to remember the flashback and the scene in the park from the manga so I guess it must be added for more flavour.

The Black Sekirei was even better than I imagined her storming through those enemies with ease with her deep smexy voice, the interesting part was Minato in the lab which tells us he's special in some way.

The only fault I can find with the episode is the Musubi's orgasms when she was winged, where I had to turn the volume down to stop myself from laughing , and Musubi's VA, I can't help but feel she doesn't suit Musubi's character because I visualize the VA's voice on a stereotypical shy girl character instead of a cute sweet voice of a ditzy and flaky character, although It did grow a little on me by the end.

(Also imo Landlady would look better with brown hair like the colour pages.)

Well, they're subbing them the way they aired on TV, so if the TV broadcast is censored in some way, that's the way it'll be on the fansubs as well.

just finished watching the ep, interesting to note that minato has shown more backbone here than in the manga. and just like Blizzer, i couldnt stand the sound effects during the winging, sounded quite indecent lol

p.s. i dont think anyone's subbing them censored

That isnt Minato

Musubi's voice is spot on.. If you read the manga (which I assumed you are not, judging from the above), then you'll see why the VA is a perfect match.

Now on for Tsundere Yoko grand entrance in episode 4.

They go that far to cut the devil's screentime so only the voice not the character makes the debut!

What loses here can't be compensated later, or it comes at cost of another screentime cut (or the devil and the death won't get any screentime at all?).

I had the same problem. I tried several different media players with mostly the same results. VLC media player at least played the file so that's an option if you don't mind slightly fubard subs.

Wasn't a bad first episode. You give rich people way too much time on their hands and apparently this happens . Though I'm not sure you'd find many complaining that he somehow made a lot of beautiful girls with powerful abilities. Though the fact he's going to send out a force to wipe out anyone who leaks it is going a bit far.

Wouldn't say I was blown away by the episode, but I enjoyed it. Should be interesting to see how the series goes.
