They said it during KSL when they first announced EX anime.

They probably did that to avoid any silly "it's gonna be hentai !" speculations.(not that it work though)

As we all know, the name Ecstasy left us in great anticipation for all the steamy sex scenes to be adapted Yosuga no Sora style because Key produces only the best in H, just behind Type Moon with their Mana Gas Station Shirou. I mean nothing beats such creativity from Key such as mutual salad tossing. And JC staff is renown for its excellent visuals when it comes to fanservice and body proportions.

I really can't wait for Kud Wafter to be done as such. The world may never be the same.

Err... think it's better to be left as EX.

Well, the title for the VN is Little Busters-EX Ecstasy, so the EX wasn't created for the anime. In fact, I suspect the abbreviation was intentional, considering the Ecstasy VN is just the original VN with added content.
