anybody else feel a bit disappointed in this spinoff like I do? for the most part its a retelling of the LN events without adding a lot of new things. Like it showed the mayumi, tatsuya, and mari scene where mayumi was trying to tease tats from miyuki's point of view, but she wasn't even in that scene in the LN. I thought the 1st chapter where it showed Mayumi and Mari finding out about the shiba siblings early via tje shopping center incident would be more of the rule rather than exception

An interesting thing about the drawing style is that it has improved, this is especially noticeable in the characters look better. |

I think shes a trap; She reminds me of Spoiler for this:
Beside it just made me realized speaking of copy; Lina's bangs reminds me of Tatsuya? Strap Tatsuya with a longer hair and twintail imean~

Ch 13 is out.
I must say that I kinda like this spin off manga, even if the art is kinda ... hmm ... clumsy, I guess? ... it does not detract from holding my interest. Part of the reason may be that I was always interested in Honoka and Shizuku, but I think the manga as a whole has been an interesting read.

I'm quite fond of the art myself, especially the girls, they look just so damn nice (Haha, I'm such a perv ), and we also have to give credita to the artist for he (or she?) has really improved a lot since the first few chapter.
Oh well, anything can look nice if you compare them to the "bane" of Mahouka a.k.a the Yokohama Arc Manga (Uhhh, just thinking about it makes me wanna flip a table real bad ) For the "new girl", she is more like a "Lina rip-off" IMO , not that I mind

Speaking of the new character, assuming she's a first year student, the only competition she could match against Miyuki would be in the Newcomer's Ice Pillars Break, and we all know who occupied the top standings in that one.
So I won't expect much, but interesting that Satou introduces new side characters. A shame she didn't make a cameo in the anime (I think?).

It could be interesting if Miyuki had a match during her third 9SC, besides Ayako. |

I like Yuutousei, since it's kind of "sweet". The issues are less grave, and it's a bit "Mahouka, Shoujo version". Eimi is soooo endearing, for example.
As someone, whose primary interest is Miyuki's development, it's quite a treat. |
